College Gameday open thread
First college gameday of the year, so lets talk about it. If anything it should pass time by until the Michigan game. Any and all posts relating to Erin Andrews being hot and Lee Corso being crazy are encouraged (even though Doug Karsch isn't in this, you may comment once on how tall he is). Lets get the day started, already did one of the 3 s's this morning and it came after a cup of coffee. Still hungover, but lets get the show on the road.
Counting down the hours till we get to watch this guy.

No he wouldn't.

I think we need to keep David Pollack as far away from Erin Andrews as possible.
Also she is looking really hot.

On BTN Dinardo just said Hoke has to intensify in state recruiting because MSU has owned the state the last 3 years. Heavens to Betsy is this true!

Check the states top 10 recruits for 2012. It's already happened.

Crazy old man corso supports 16 team super conferences. Means it is crazy, obvs.

Time for Corso to go. Replace him with Erin
Eye candy for Saturday mornings

More useful in terms of analysis too. That's the thing I really like about her, there are lots of pretty sideline reporters, but she's one of the very, very few (the only?) to make that job actually help the broadcast. I think in Bill Stewart's like second or third game as head coach she managed to sum up his entire era in 60 seconds ("total confusion down here!").

Denard Robinson actually makes the earth rotate on it's axis. All while the entire galaxy orbits around him now... Just food for thought.. That is all carry on.

Desmond's seersucker is the sharpest thing on the screen - while Herbstreit's Sesame Street color palette is hard on the eyes. And big ups to the guy in the back waving the Michigan flag. If he could get it untangled more than 80% of the time, its message would be more effective.

To more sartorial insights from you

Was the only guy who had a tailor up there. But not as eloquently as you.

And I suppose it would only be fitting that Musburger would try to outdo his younger counter part Herbstreit with his "dressed in the dark approach".

Sounds like Steve Clarke on WTKA?

Damn, this is one sad story. :(

Damn.. That's a sad story. Gotta feel for him.

A few months ago was dusty room worthy.

I have (had?) tickets to todays game and had to give them to my brother cause I have to go to a freaking wedding. Second straight year my opening game has gotten ruined by one of these stupid things. And the wedding's at 4:00 so I'm completely hosed for both watching and listening live.
Fuck me.

MGoBlue is streaming live audio for free. Or a radio App tuning into one of the stations. Get one of those one earbud type headphones, and since you'll be in a suit it'll be easy enough to park your phone close to your ear and not have cord all over the place. Might look a little secret service, but there's still time.

I know of 2 weddings today, luckily I don't have to go to either.

I can't believe they brought Chip Kelly on and asked him if he thinks that they can clean up college football. The guy who paid a street agent 25G to steer a kid to them and then when the NCCAA caught wind panicked and told the agent to send him any game tapes he had to make believe he paid for scouting services. When Kelly said "Oh yeah i think they can clean it up" they don't say anything. ESPN is a joke once again.

Corso changes to 7 wins...

The 3rd Duck cheerleader in the row as they went out with the straight dark hair and mocha skin - Wow!

Hopefully the ESPN cameras will be lurking around her at the game tonight! Yowza.

computer at the TV when Fowler said, this offense is going to look so so different and Denard will be in I-Form all the time blah blah blah. Don't they read any of the reports from practice?? Even Desmond said something similar! :(

Jordan Jefferson "made a bad decision". No smoking pot is a bad decision. Battery ses a little more serious.
September 3rd, 2011 at 11:46 AM ^
Corso: "They [the NCAA] set it up in Miami so that it will be bad there in Miami. But Ohio State......(starts whistling and brushing his hand away implying 'sweeping it under the rug')
Herbie: (covers his face unable to contain a huge smile/laughter)

What head are they going to put on next week? Neither Michigan nor Notre Dame has a plush mascot.
September 3rd, 2011 at 2:20 PM ^
They should use either a Michigan leather helmet or a lepracon hat
