And of course, the only ones who might possible be, not happy about this situation, but less than devastated are the Buckeyes. To take heat off of them and give the college football world a new focus - and not just a focus, a complete out-a-nowhere left hook making their mishaps of the last year seem less than trivial - makes them feel a little less sorry for themselves. And that, I find very annoying.
I also got to catch the last 4 minutes of the '99 game. The coolness of Brady under pressure made me a bit hyped for today, in hopes that we could have some of that. And on a different side note - the refresher also brought back strange feelings about Brady as he had a dirty bum stache. It was GROSS.
I agree. There were multiple times where he seemed comfortable checking-off many places and finally choosing a suitable option. Also, he managed to do this with complete breakdowns in the protection around him which shows great poise and comfort with his fresh pocket position.
Desmond's seersucker is the sharpest thing on the screen - while Herbstreit's Sesame Street color palette is hard on the eyes. And big ups to the guy in the back waving the Michigan flag. If he could get it untangled more than 80% of the time, its message would be more effective.
Of course now we get to miss out another nugget of sports history in the 21st perfect game ever. And no less, three, ahem, two of them, have been in the 2010 season, all before the All Star Game. Lost, just lost. Ridiculous.
PS - And Austin Jackson's catch wasn't anything to laugh at either.

Not only is it a very expensive individual sport, but because of the few "Elites", I believe they're called, in the country, it can be hard to garner a great response and increase following. Because there is not much room for athletes at top, it lacks the "star power" that many other sports can afford to have because of greater numbers and a larger, next-level platform, like a professional league. However, with an all-around champ and an NCAA title with the men's, it's gives a good boost of U of M powerhouse juice that the entire sports program has been needing this year. You can only increase your following with great wins, so cheers to the movement because more following means reciprocal money back into the program for more domination.

Pray for the victims and for justice to be done.

I liked that although our turf contains no official dirt, his jersey still seemed to be smeared in it - along with tread marks from Kovacs cleats.
And I suppose it would only be fitting that Musburger would try to outdo his younger counter part Herbstreit with his "dressed in the dark approach".
His ankles must be made from the weakest of bubble wrap.

WOMEN of Michigan as well. The joy never diminishes, but the roles we play in life surrounding our college game day do. Go Blue!
Despite the announcer's inital hesitation to call on TV, that snowcone is legit, and I'd take it any day.
Also featuring an obscenely low pitch count of 88. Just more salt in a now nationwide headline...
