Ace: Chris Wormley Named No. 1 Ohio Prospect by Bucknuts
The article is paywalled, but the information is very much in the header: Yes, an Ohio site just named a Wolverine commit as their top in-state prospect.
Attempted jinx? You decide, but congratulations to Chris Wormley.

yeah I can see what I can do. I'll get some video and edit it friday night and hopefully have it sent out saturday sometime. Hopefully it's worth watching.

Awesome - really appreciate it. I'm planning to make it down to Whitmer for an MGoCreeperVan piece, but the more film, the merrier.

Eh it's not to creepy for random people to show up to Whitmer games. They have a huge following and I would say probably 70% of the fans there are just there to watch a well played game. Whitmer, st. Johns, st. Francis, and central are all the same in this region. You can include southview in that group to but they don't have their own stadium so I don't give them credit. If your looking for a Whitmer game that would make great material and kill two birds with one stone shoot for st. Johns v Whitmer. You get chris and also jack millers little bro who many have high hopes for on this board. Just an FYI. Not sure how your Toledo knowledge is. I assume you already knew but just trying to help a brother out.

Since my focus at my old post wasn't too much on recruiting -- that was DGDestroys territory -- I can use all the help and knowledge I can attain. Might just have to adjust the tentative FNL schedule ... thanks for the tip.

I imagined a modified Mystery Machine. Kinda like this:
I'd get in.

thats good to hear. i hope his senior season is a productive one and he stays injury free. he could do big things at michigan in the future.

Bill Kurelic...or Duane Long.
Meh Duane's probably the safe bet. After all, Joshua Perry and De'Von Bogard are both miles ahead of Adolphus Washington, Odenigbo, Kalis, Wormley, Stanford, Brown..you catch my drift.
Nice to see one of them is thinking instead of trying to run a site with a bruised ego.

Alright ACE, when are we gonna replace Tom's tab with ACE
August 23rd, 2011 at 10:21 PM ^
of some length.
August 23rd, 2011 at 10:31 PM ^
I think Tom's material should be archive and preserved for future reference. His work should be enshrined for future generations...

It should be read to children before they go to bed.

It's paywalled, and they did the first 45 in large posts, so that would be reaching a little too deep into the premium content.
However:
1. Chris Wormley
2. Kyle Kalis
12. Tom Strobel
14. Joe Bolden
22. Pharaoh Brown
26. Jarrod Wilson
29. Kaleb Ringer
36. Allen Gant
37. A.J. Williams
47. Caleb Stacey
Solid haul, if you ask me.
August 23rd, 2011 at 10:44 PM ^
I knew ohio was deep, but is it really deep enough to put both wilson and ringer un the late 20s! Ehh, I'll for sure take the top two and hope that we can pull in dunn, stanford, and washington. (all of whom I presume are in the top ten)
August 23rd, 2011 at 11:07 PM ^
I'm gonna doubt that Stanford is in the top 10, but the other two should be. I would guess that guys like Washington, Dunn, Ball, Odenigbo, Pittman, Mahone, and McMullen would be ahead of him. OK, so maybe he's just in the top 10.

Hoke definitely went balls deep in Ohio this year.

but when can we expect to see the MGoCreeper Van in action?
August 23rd, 2011 at 10:31 PM ^
Saturday at EMU, I'll be working the Cass/FHH game with RJS, T-Rich, Funchess, and Ojemudia. Not a long trip for the van, but there will be many more to come.
August 23rd, 2011 at 11:25 PM ^
That should be worth some notes.

Right, now we gotta do something about that sig line, too. Recruiting ninja, "you guess?" Ninjas don't guess. Ninjas that guess quickly become ninja puppy chow. Recruiting ninja, bitches, amirite?
August 23rd, 2011 at 10:42 PM ^
A poor attempt at humility. You'll have to excuse me for keeping the quotation marks, but I'll remove the 'I guess.'
When I start earning my title and breaking stories, the quotation marks may stealthily disappear.
August 23rd, 2011 at 11:03 PM ^
Have you been talking with and interviewing recruits for your previous sites, or will that be something new for you?
August 24th, 2011 at 8:35 AM ^
I fully expect that the quotation marks will turn to exclamation points in no time.

Word to the wise. When future commitmants arise, make sure you have enough time to write 2 "Hello:" posts... Because we get'em in pairs.. Thats just how we roll at Meeechigan

Word to the wise. Don't treat posters who have been around way longer than you like they're noobs. Just sayin'.
