10 weeks 2 days ago	It has been funny to watch it	It has been funny to watch it today.  Denard was down a few thousand when I first that A&M was cheating.  Then I think some UM fans starting doing the same thing.  Denard went up by 3 thousand.  Then Denard told everyone to chill and EA put out that release.  Now Denard is down again - UM fans obviously realize no point carrying on, but A&M fans haven't gotten the message yet.

10 weeks 4 days ago	Makes sense for the football	Makes sense for the football members to do this.  The Big East name has more prowess in basketball, while they were the laughing stock of the big conferences in football.  Since these schools are already going to be relegated to mid-majordom, makes sense to re-brand and keep the cash.  The 7 departing schools will get far more benefit from keeping the name than the football 3.

24 weeks 5 days ago	This is what I believe as	This is what I believe as well.  The Maryland president was adamant that no school funds would be used to pay any buyout amount.  I doubt the B1G is fronting much cash in this move.  If they are, it will be paid out Maryland's future earnings from the conference.  I think the Under Armour guy will see it as an investment to gain access to other schools - he may be able to swing future contracts for Under Armour gear with other B1G schools.

25 weeks 6 days ago	Georgia Tech is in an	Georgia Tech is in an unenviable position.  They play Georgia this week and then Florida State in the ACC Championship.  If they lose both, falling to 6-7, then technically they will not be bow eligible.  They will have to hope there are not enough bowl eligible teams.
