I get they posted a picture of the pants but the mock up of the jersey is over the maize pants...I'd rather see that than the white pants. The idea of stripes on Michigan pants tweaks me out

Ive been a fan, and religiously watched michigan since I've been a kid, but I'm relatively new to the board and I have a question: does anyone give a crap about these details once the season starts?

I noticed slight jersey changes, but never lamented over them like on this board. Is this just a downtime obsession, or do people really care about pant colors through the season?

Harbaugh did it with Stanford too. They used to have that cheap ugly black stripe in 2007 and he changed it back to just cardinal and red in 2008. Stanford looked and played the right way after that.

I like it for a year.  Leave the home uni alone.  A clean alternate and pure throwback.  Very nicely done.  Pays homage to the dominant early Bo years - a level of performance to which we must return.  Harbaugh just gets it - pure and simple.  Excellent work out of him!

In the two seasons that Michigan wore the white pants, the Wolverines went 10-1 (lost to Ohio State) and 8-2-2 with ties against Stanford and Baylor and losses to Ohio State (again) and Oklahoma in the Orange Bowl.

18-3-2 isn't a bad two year record, but I don't know if you'd call team completely dominant then.  They did beat two ranked squads in 1975 (Missouri and Michigan State) but came up short against the Buckeyes and the Sooners in the biggest games of those two seasons.

If these were worn for just one game that would be great but I'm not a fan if they're going to be the continuous Road jerseys. I dislike that the block M is not on the maize pants and I'm damn sure not a fan of not wearing the maize pants.

I don't get having great colors like maize and blue but then decide hey looking plain like Penn State is a great idea. If this was a one time thing great but it looks terrible with the helmet.

I don't like it. I love traditional uniforms, and I know that UM wore these in 1974, but I'm not sure about the white pants. Either way, as others have said, I really don't give a shit as long as we win.

I've been pining for these to make a comeback since 1976. This was the uniform I remember when I first became a fan. These are AWESOME!
Thank you Harbaugh-thank you.
