I personally like talking about recruiting, this is after all, a football blog as far as I can tell. If it were me and I didn't like the thread, most likely not read it let alone comment on it, just me.
I am really really confused why this is the best outcome for UM. I get that this is really a nothing burger in the sense that everyone looks for an edge. Hell, cheating is all over this sport, in so many ways, in so many eras. But if your not willing to go through the legal process so you can be on the sidelines against OSU, in the most promising season for us to win the National Championship, you have done something wrong and don’t want it out. Of course this is just my opinion, but I would never in a million years thought Jim would do something unethical having watched his whole career from beginning to now end, but I can’t help but feel this is an admission. Hopefully I am way off here, but this doesn’t make sense to me. This will not end well. Not sure what to think.
In the vain of not ending here, put the banners back up, awesome timing for something that should have happened long ago. No doubt they figured UM would lay down for this, as we have before. Don’t get me started on, “stretchgate”. Little off topic but it still burns my ass to this day, might as well get that out there.
I would like to add that Kenneth Grant is officially a problem out there! How does a man that big move like that I have no idea but he is going to be breaking things all year. I, for one, plan on sitting back and enjoying the show.
I travelled with my partner from Toronto for that, she got dressed in the colors, we took the train down to the stadium, was having a blast. Then came the game. She said, " you brought me here for that? It was her first game and I thought to myself, I just spent around 3000 bucks to watch that? What a waste, at least the Tomahawk steak at RPM steakhouse was on point. Good times!
Just want to say, all time great Wolverine, one who helped give me a football memory that I will always carry with me in my fandom, like what more can you say, except thanks, for the way he carried himself and the hard work put in as a Wolverine and finally beating oh how I hate, Ohio st. Was an amazing day and week after. We needed it
I’m personally going less with the outsiders thing, and starting with more of a MacArthur kinda of vibe. He has returned! I for one prefer this ending! Jim has got this. Or our best chance anyway. Most likely!

I am sorry to hear about your domestic situation, when I went through it, my time on the blog was one of the few times of the day I felt okay and I have always appreciated you and the blog for that. I cannot return that favour but I can tell you that it has been a great 17 year ride and you have created a thing that all Michigan fans can proud of. Thank you for all the great stories and content. This time will pass and better days are ahead, except for the beating OSU part, that is asking a lot it seems.

Especially if you take for granted a lot of variables about how students will come to decisions, but it’s highly likely that M could be a huge beneficiary of a monetary realignment of an actual level playing field, would for sure improve the level of coaching, time management and value of degree. Finding those coaches that can adjust to a more professional ( for lack of a better word), environment, will be even more important going forward. The “train”, has left the station beyond a doubt, but the path forward is still TBD. Hopefully it is one that rewards the athletes with their own opportunities to make bank while at the school, doing it in the right way, and in accordance with almost everyone else in the marketplace, ideally. NCCA can pound sand while hopefully atoning for a great many self serving decisions from the past, to many to cite. I am trying hard to be positive, resilient, something good in sports would come in handy at the moment.
Last thing, I am planning a trip to Tunisia next year, Roman ruins, Carthage, beaches, markets, and Mediterranean weather. Cheaper by far then Greece, hopefully as beautiful.
Except for the overwhelming amount of people circling you in Denpasar, horrible if you have this idea of tropical paradise idea, after we left for the other coast, paradise is an understatement.
In 1999, I had done two years in Korea teaching English , my partner and I went to Bali and Lombok, spent a month there travelling around, unforgettable experience and the most beautiful places on earth. A week before we got there, the dollar devaluation from the imf crises to the Asian tigers happened, we each spent 750 usd, best hotels , planes, food etc. A memory you can never forget.

Was not ever a member of Penn St volleyball, still a fan. I watched AC in the Rose Bowl back in the day, loved the winged helmet. Been watching ever since. Am I less of a fan? Not as real, not allowed to love Michigan football? Walmart seems more of a statement of the low level thinking then much else. IMO
If he is a Crable comp, please remind him that getting a stop On fourth down to win the game is more important then laying out the QB three yards out of bounds.
