Way OT: NYC poop sitting on a train in Alabama
In keeping with the recent spate of OT threads, I thought this was as interesting as most. It appears that New York has been taking advantage of cheap land in Alabama and sending trainloads of their poop there. Someone got an injunction against the dumping (pun intended) and as a result a trainload of crap has been sitting in a rail yard for a couple months. Locals are suffering pretty badly stating that it smells like death.
Humor is in the eye of the beholder, but poop humor is universally funny (unless you live in Alabama).
Or to legally prohibit this kind of activity, but we all know that's never going to happen.

The article is written to be sympathetic to the poor Southern states that are being used as dumping grounds. Well, how about you change the laws (or even have pre-existing laws ***shocker***) not allowing that. The owner of the landfills are likely from the same state. It's their own people that are allowing it and trying to get rich off it. Stop blaming others (sates). These people shopped around, they found a buyer. Live with it, or regulate it.

...talk about generating some gross revenue...
This is an awful story, but somehow Alabama’s football success makes me think it is okay. We should all be allowed to dump on them at least once. They have been ruining my Saturdays for years now.
It's almost as if a complete refusal to enact zoning laws or regulate the activities of businesses might have some negative consequences.
Saban now developing a strategy to "make their asses quit"
Makes me want to eat a punch of donuts and prunes and drive to New York
Is this the trickle down I keep hearing about?
It looks like the best part of you ran down the crack of your mama's ass and ended up on a train in Alabama!
Well I am in Alabama but thankfully I'm not currently on a train.
Would have sent to Ohio, but Ohio's already full of shit.
Exactly the hump-day thread I needed:
- Scatological humor - check
- Refrences to coolers - check
- A serious post about regulations n shit - check
- The Wire
Good times.
Anyone listen to the podcast S Town? Check it out. It's about this very topic... Alabama shite.
