Lions take early lead against Texans to give slight glimmer of hope before doing Lions things and turning the ball over on back to back drives.

LOL.

It was 7-0. I went to take a shower. Not even before I dried myself off, it was 13-7.

Insert Step Brothers, "What the fuck happened?" gif.

If you aren't rooting for a loss, you aren't a true fan. This thing needs to end.

As a Niners fanatic and UM alum, I’d love to see Salah get a look at the UM gig (if Harbaugh departs for greener pastures)...it’s a forgone conclusion Salah will be coaching somewhere next year, and I’d love to see him in A2! I’ve had the fortune of meeting him on several occasions, and he’s a truly incredible guy.

Check around the house. Including the walls and floorboards.

In early October, Nick Drummond and Patrick Bakker said they found more than 66 bottles of whiskey from the Prohibition-era hidden within the walls and floorboards of their home, which was built in 1915. "Our walls are filled with bundles of booze!" Drummond, who documented the unexpected find in a series of posts on social media, wrote on his Instagram. "I can't believe the rumors are true! He was actually a bootlegger! "

I came back from a quick errand just to see the Texans go ahead for the moment.

At the current pace, the Lions may lose a winnable game and cast a slight pall on the holiday yet again.

The Lions look like their same old trashy selves. Just an awful team! Ford family, please sell your team. You are just the worse NFL team owners.

I get the Ford thing, I totally do.

But at the end of the day, it's on the GM and the coach to produce a winner. I hope they recognize this soon and try again with a new duo.

They'll never sell. All we can hope is that they finally do it right and get the right management in here.

There's just been too much loyalty to losers. The Ford's stuck with Thomas and Millen way too long. Schmidt was probably the best of the lot.  I actually miss the Wayne Fontes era, even during his bad seasons, he still was close to .500 and at least in the wild card race.

I don't argue there. They are very loyal.

But they have also showed they are willing to move on from coaches pretty quick. I think the average coach for the Lions after Fontes has been like 3-4 years.

There's no point complaining about the Fords; they aren't selling.

All we can hope for is that they land a super smart football mind that is not enamored with replicating the Patriots.

I don’t get the Ford thing. They pay up for our good players, they give coaches a chance, they stay in the background - they don’t run amok like Dan Snyder.  As far as I can tell they’re just not good at talent evaluation- but they don’t seem to hamstring their staff like other owners.

At this point I’m rooting for Duke Johnson and Watson to score a lot of TDs so I can remain in first place in fantasy. So far it’s going well.

Before today, I Probably watched about 20 snaps total of Lions football this year.  I can now confirm they are hot garbage as per the usual.  Why is it so brutal being born and raised a sports fan in the state of Michigan?  Sheesh!

And the Lions run an imaginative play only to get rooked out of a TD by a questionable interpretation of the rules for completing the pass, AGAIN!

Go ahead and fire Patricia. It’s probably the right thing to do, but we all know the Lions are going to be right back in this situation 3-4 years from now with the next guy they bring in.

The Lions have cycled through countless players, coaches, scouts and GMs, wasted two of the best players to EVER play their respective positions, and they’ve always been awful. We all know who has been the lone constant in all of this, but unfortunately there is no way to get rid of them, and they’re showing no desire to ever sell.

Surrender to the void, Lions fans.
