It was like Mr Magoo was fucking calling the plays for OSU. Even Nebraska was smart enough not to run at the MSU front 7. Mike DeBord would've thrown the ball more.

I think B1G very well may be closed out entirely, unless undefeated Iowa wins championship. And honestly, a one-loss B1G rep as OSU not even in champ game or MSU doesn't look stronger than anyone who comes out of Big12 undefeated or one loss. I think ND has done exactly nothing, but I think Clemson, Alabama, Big12 undefeated or Okla, and then it's a pick 'em whether Pac champ or B1G champ or ...to be named later ...

If there is any doubt about who is a better coach: Harbaugh or Meyer, that question was answered today.  Meyer's game plan sucked, big time.  As for Mark, fuck him, too.

I always thought Meyer and his teams were very over-rated.

Sure, their run attack is potent, but Meyer has ZERO ability to coach QBs (one thing Harbaugh has in spades), and their passing game has always been predicated forcing opposing defences to hardcore sell-out on stopping the run.

The fact that OSU did NOTHING on MSU's secondary is unbelieveable.

I understand the MSU's front is strong, and even that OSU never broke anything big, but, their passing-game was unreal pathetic.

I never though Meyer was a great football coach, just extremely lucky on obtaining outstanding freakish athletes and players (at schools located in hotbeds like Florida and OSU), and implementing a football system specifically designed to exploit the game of football at a particular level.

 

Edit: Also, this was after watching the sports documentary on OSU, and showing their practices, coaching, day-to-day program handling. Meyer didn't come off as being that great of a details-coach (which is the only thing that matters, sorry "rah-rah" coaches), and actually seemed like a kind of out of touch guy.

Your stupid coach had the worst offensive game plan I've ever seen. That was a pathetic display, can't even call it football. It is true what everybody's saying, it's almost like they wanted to lose. AND you, sir, suck. Like your team and coach.

Michigan State and not Ohio State is going to be in the way of Harbaugh winning the B1G every year in the coming years.

I was rooting for MSu to lose like everyone else, I cannot believe they won thaat way.  OSU had 5 1st downs.

Dantonio is a douche, but he earned some respect from me today.  Without Cook, to have his team win on the road vs a top 3 team is just hard to fathom.

Meyer's strengths are recruiting and preparation--not coaching on the sidelines.  MSU deserves credit, but there is no way OSU should have lost that one.

And give respect to MSU for that win, I just can't. By the 2nd quarter, it was obvious it was going to be a stretch run with Barrett the entire game. A coaching staff that's paid handsomely better be able to see this if my fat ass sitting on the couch can
