Well fella's this is the home stretch before the early signing period December 19th.

Anthony Solomon 4 star OLB

Cornelius Johnson 4 star WR

Danielson Ike 3 star OT

Sam Snyder 3 star TE

How many do we get, and if Trevor Keegan picks the good guys, do we still take Ike. I like Ike.

With the attrition we've had this year, and the attrition we may get after the bowl game, how many spots are available?  Have a good weekend boys and girls, and Go Blue!

Muhammad from last years class is that guy. Erick All in this class is also a low 4 star. There just aren’t a lot of 5 start TEs (only one I can remember is Ruckert who inexplicably chose OSU) and high 4 stars we’ve targeted, we’ve been beaten out for by Stanford and ND (basically the two other programs that heavily uses TE). We can definitely get better talent at the position but our current TEs are not bad

I believe the fans are going to be more than pleasantly surprised by who is already in the room and has not yet seen the field at Michigan. My belief is that Muhammad and Schoonmaker are going to be as good or better than this years TEs. I think Schoonmaker is going to shock folks when he arrives on the scene.

Michigan will most likely land 3 four star kids within the next week (Keegan, Johnson, and Solomon). This will help alleviate some of the pessimism and cynicism within the fan base. Even if we whiff on all our five star options, this class should end up looking a lot like our 2016 class. In that class, we had 1 five star and a bunch of four star and high three star kids. Because Zach C. will probably end up a five star in this class, this cycle will look quite similar to 2016.

People also forget that, in the 2016 class, 4 out of our top 6 or 7 guys didn’t really end up contributing much at all (Peters, Walker, Devin A., Crawford). This class had a chance to be elite, and it doesn’t look like it is going to end up that way. That’s disappointing. But this class is not nearly as bad as some people are making it out to be.

Also, as of RIGHT NOW, we have 89 players scheduled to be on scholarship next year. If more guys leave for the NFL (Bush, Hill, Long, etc.), that number will drop, but we're over the limit at the moment, even without Daxton Hill, Trevor Keegan, Danielson Ike, Anthony Solomon, etc. Lots of people need to leave/transfer/drop to get down to 85.

We have four very good young WRs, don’t throw much, and split targets between them, the TEs, and some no-name walk on WR.

These guys aren’t slaves. If they’re not getting what they want here, they’re going to leave.

Ike is a take even if Keegan commits....  if not, then I'd venture that Keegan isn't coming, and Ike is...

The consensus seems to be that you all think Ike Danielson will not be a take if Keegan commits, but (I believe) Michigan already is aware of Keegan's commitment news. With Keegan committing tonight, it would be odd for Michigan to host Ike this weekend when they know/believe there are no spots available.

It says something about something that we only graduate 1 scholarship Oline Man and are bringing in 6-7 OL recruits.

Also speaking of Ike, I wonder if one of the other OL commits may get pushed out  or has been thinking about greener pastures. Because it does seem strange to take 7.
