PSA: Michigan football featured today on BTN
Public Service Announcement:
Today, BTN is featuring Michigan leading up to a Preseason in depth preview on the BIG Show at 7PM. Games featured today are (all times EST):
Noon - '97 game v ND
2PM - '98 Rose Bowl
6PM - Last years BIG Ten Championship game
7PM - In depth preview
They noted that Michigan and Iowa will be the teams covered today at 7PM. Set your DVR. My only question is why not '21 OSU game (although I have that one already saved on my DVR)

NOOOOOOOBODY!!!

I fear Herkey more than a 7PM start time.

This year with the BTN crew has been odd. I don't think they are going by bus this year, but are flying instead. They have been bouncing all over B1G country instead of following a logical path by geographical proximity. Also, no dias or stage on a field like in years past. Just cut-a-ways of the analysts talking for a couple minutes with camera roll of practice.

And havent they been interviewing a lot more? I liked the analysis, though most of it is just jock horseplay.. they talked about players and what they saw at least when griffith and dinardi were doing it.

Probably because beating the 2nd place team in the east isnt worth anyone's time. osu is amateur city. We beat them by more than we beat nebraska and psu combined.
We are the B10 champs. Clown question, bro.

Yesterday, BTN had one of their shows, I think B1G Today, preview most of the teams. Hosted by Rick Pizzo and Anthony Herron. They are better than most of their talent, and did a nice job. Herron was more bullish on Michigan than Pizzo, saying the offense should be electric.

As preseason traditions go, I don't hate the waves of first-person-observer comments that come out of this (social media) prior to the 7PM interview. Granted, the flattery and fluff is tuned up for all of their visits, but its extent isn't the same for each program, and I enjoy trying to gleen that signal from noise.

That game will be on my DVR forever!

Yep. The original Fox broadcast uncut. The celebration on the field and the fans pouring out of the Big House during the postgame. If that little hard drive in the DVR gives out I might shed a tear.

My wife is under strict orders that that game never - NEVER - gets deleted. I need to find a way to download it, actually. I don't relish it being on a cable service DVR - if I dump cable, it could be gone.
Great. Now I have a task that isn't work related.

As also noted above, the Annual Bus Tour is in AA today so you may see updates on Twitter via Gerry Dinardo, Dave Revsine etc. if you are on that platform.
FYI - BTN has not been doing “day-of” episodes this year (thus far) so the actual stuff filmed on Campus today may not be on until later in the week.

I’m curious to see what they think about our LB crew. We are lacking big time there with really only colson and NHG. For some reason, Barrett isn’t really mentioned much there. So I think that group is the weakest spot on the team, especially if either get hurt. I was hoping Hood or Mclaurin (sp) would step up.

Thanks for the info.

Is this the bus tour thing where they spend a day on campus and do the show?
