I won't be doing a lot of banging. Herniated discs in the cervical spine really suck; in my case, C4, C5, and C6 are all screwed and I had to start physical therapy yesterday.

I started Lipitor yesterday. That made me feel much older than turning 50 did.

I'm well into my dotage by now. "Middle age" went by more quickly than I expected.
My doctor advised against the drugs due to the potential for liver damage (I had to try no fewer than 4 statins to find one that didn't fuck up my liver). If liver damage is unavoidable, my preferred "medicinal" tincture will be whiskey.
