Nik to announce decision tomorrow
And for those who have been asking, I will be holding a press conference tomorrow at school where I will announce my decision.
— Nik Stauskas (@NStauskas11) April 14, 2014
He will beast in the NBA. Unlimited range, quick release, great court awareness.. I really think he will step into the league next year and be an above average NBA offensive player from day one. Should be fun to watch.
Nik: "I am here today to announce that ESPN was right, that I am competing with Devin Gardner and Shane Morris to be the starting QB for Team 135 in a QB controversy."
There will be an announcement tomorrow at 3:30 p.m. Keep it here and http://t.co/OJ3bBh1IK2 for updates. pic.twitter.com/ci6a8vLz8P

Also, Rod Beard points out here that the team banquet is on Wednesday, and the NBA decisions have usually been announced before that event in the past, so the decisions on all three Wolverines could come out by Wednesday.
How about everyone come back to win a national championship then we can all go make millions of dollars. Or for me, drunkenly posbang all of you.
Nik gonna Nik
So it looks like Stauskas and GR3 are gone, and we wait on McGary. So we have bad news on the first 2, but hope for good news on the 3rd.
But it's interesting because if you had to pick only one of the 3 to come back next year, given next year's roster, you would probably pick McGary. I know Nik was BIGPOY, but Levert is not a huge dropoff in that spot, not nearly as big a dropoff as the 5 would be without McGary.
So I am staying optimistic, if we get Mitch back, we are right in the BIG title race.
Michigan holding a 3:30 news conference tomorrow. Nik Stauskas and Glenn Robinson III expected to announce leaving for NBA.

Mitch McGary may not make announcement tomorrow. Sources told ESPN that he is still wrestling with decision.

Damn Sources knows everybody nowadays
Jeff Goodman just tweeted that the presser will include GR3, for what it's worth.
If that's true they are both gone.
Good luck Nik. At least Joe D won't be able to pass you up!
Remember that he's talking about Canadian tomorrow, which with the current exchange rate is Thursday at 5 p.m.
Interesting that 1st rounders like Montrezl Harrell & Willie Cauley-Stein are staying put - especially since big men are in such demand. Coach K is probably steamed Cauley-Stein is staying since he had that spot slotted for a top 10 recruit.
you know Coach Kentucky.... what else could Coach K possibly stand for?
I do too but isn't getting the players to play for the program actually "step one?"
Oh, shut up. Go to the Riv and drink a PBR and drown your sorrow over Gary Harris leaving, brah.
Thanks for everything Nik. I'll be rooting for you in the pros
McGary's father, Tim McGary, told MLive on Monday night that his son has no intentions to partake in the press conference and is still undecided on whether he return to U-M or not.
"He's still back and forth on it," Tim McGary said.
Tim McGary said he expects to meet with Mitch McGary on Wednesday during Michigan's annual basketball banquet to discuss the decision further.
"As far as I know, he hasn't decided anything," said Tim McGary who was asked if there was any chance his son would make any announcement during Tuesday's press conference and joked, "He better not."
You don't typically hold a joint presser, at school, to announce you are leaving school.

Happens all the time. Here's 5 underclassmen in one press conference...
Jalen and Juwan did.
Thanks for one of the most badass 3's I've ever seen

I was in Champagne for this. As we were destroying them in the first half, I kept my composure and just modestly clapped for their great performance but when Nik drilled this three, I jumped up and when nuts. What a moment.

for the NBA either, but his stock will likely never be higher.

How do you define "ready"? How do you know? Are you a scout?

Just like GRIII should have stayed, Nik has to go. He is going to get a nice chunk of change. He really can't maximize his position any more than he has this year.
