Navy's Keenan Reynolds breaks Denard's record (rushing yards for a QB)

Submitted by Mr. Yost on

Just did it midway through the 3rd quarter. If it was going to go down, couldn't have been to a better person and player.

Congrats to Keenan.

With his 48 yard run, Keenan Reynolds now has the most career rush yards by a QB in FBS history with 4,518 yards.

Today is the first time I've watched him play. Setting these records at his size shows you the size of his heart. The overall durability to stay healthy for four years running the triple option is quite amazing. It's a damn shame he didn't get a Heisman invite.

Due to the QB depth issues that went on for years and are finally being corrected, Denard's as a backup QB in 2009 kept him from a lot more opportunities and yards.

You could see the evidence of that during the 2009 season.  I remember watching various plays develop and Tate's inability to just carry out the play design ended up botching what were well designed plays.

I know he was praised for his improtu play, but that same improtu play ended up fucking up a lot of potential plays that were going for TDs.
