MSU QB Battle Over - Mike D'Antoni announces Tyson Connors as starter

Submitted by Blazefire on

With our own position battle going on at quarterback, and knowing that some of you really only monitor UofM news, I thought you'd all like to know that MSU Head Coach Mike D'Antoni has announced that fifth-year senior QB Tyson Connors has won the position battle to be MSU's starting Quarterback this fall.

Tyson will have big shoes to fill in replacing NFL draftee Korky Coupons, widely reputed to be a real leader in the locker room.

Tyson evidently beat out junior Dominick Torvalds and redshirt freshman Billy Lebouf for the starting job. Tyson will see his first action Friday, September 2nd vs the Furman Paladins (Seriously. That one is correct).

What do you guys think? Is Tyson up to the job? Can he finally bring respekt to MSU?

Can we let this die, along with the STAEE thing? It's no better than SCum or Meatchicken or whatever crap they post over at the RCMB.

You'd think we could be better than that, Leaders and Best and all.
