A lot of programs don't stay in a hotel for home games the night before anymore. Don't know why. Doesn't really matter.

Throw in a Jake Long to come back & become the #1 pick. There are others though. There is Rick Leach, he optioned his way to history. Rob Lytle when it was 3 yards & a cloud of dust. Did we talk about Desmond yet? When it was 4th down & short against Notre Dame? He was good too. So was Moeller for calling it. Too many to count.

Credit where credit is due (and stating the obvious): That was also an amazing throw from Stroud, who was moving backward pretty quickly to avoid the rush.

That's what makes the play so great. Our guys can't be legends if their guys are schmucks. It was an otherwise perfect throw and catch that Mikey just wanted a little bit more.

one other factor that is overlooked in our success. we know about character and coaching, but appreciate also that our team's IQ has got to be levels above many other 'good' teams, and helps us on the field. its what we call, 'FBI', meaning 'football intelligence', and michigan has it.
