META: Are points frozen?

Submitted by JamesBondHerpesMeds on February 2nd, 2024 at 9:58 AM

I promised my boss I would get 38,000 points by February 2nd. Now I'm at risk of losing my job.

Please help!

Mine are frozen. I've got 20 absolutely gold comments that I'm saving so I can get full credit once they are back up. If you see me randomly commenting on Jim Harbaugh taking the Chargers job on a hockey post in a few weeks, you'll know why.

It may have been Seth that said something about how sometimes, when they make minor background changes, this happens and the module needs to be kicked back into life.

Oh well. I am sure that we will be making point production targets before long.

Just my opinion, but to  me the points are more useful to gauge the reaction to an individual post.  (That still works.) The total points mostly serve to remind me that I'm spending too much time here :)

Of course, a new poster won't be able to garner the 100 required to post a new Warde Should Be Fired thread, so we've got that goin' for us.
