Brother of 2019 Prospect John Branham

Same high school as Trey Burke & former OSU F Jared Sullinger. They play in the Columbus City League which is meh. Not the same level of competition that Taco/Butt or 2019 Zach Harrison will face. Northland is very close to Columbus St Francis DeSales (Prospects Johnson & Velasquez) so it's good to see the block M invading Columbus again.

I was going to say the same thing, 3G Blue. Then I wasn't going to say anything.

Then I saw your join date and MGoPoints total and had to comment. So the topic that draws you out of lurkerdom is Frank Lary? I approve, my friend, I approve.

Because the best HS football players in the Midwest come from there. Was concerning when it dropped off.

We should always be recruiting that stage. Look at the diamonds in the rough alone it has produced. Jake Ryan, Jordan Kovacs, Roy Roundtree.

Pretty hard to gauge a high school sophomore based on his offer list. You generally don’t see their offer lists start to really form until they’ve gone through the camp circuit leading into their junior years, which is just starting up. By the end of the summer and into his junior year of football, you’ll start to get a better idea of what kind of player he will be based on his offers. Typically only MAC schools will offer kids this early that aren’t absolutely cream of the crop type players.

yeah, there really is no need for this - this is just being a snarky bitch to just bitch

kid is a 3-star, but ranked 328 which usually end up as a 4-star should he hold that spot (yes, it is early)

but the point is this is the 328th ranked player in 2020 and you chose (shockingly) to be a douche just to be a douche - why you hang out on a message board of a team you only hate and troll is beyond me, but I guess that is what children do when school is out

Watched some of his tape.  I question his listen 40 time but other than that he looks pretty legit.  Good size.  Catches everything with his hands instead of letting it get into his body.  Looks willing to get physical when blocking.  At the very least he looks like he'll be a solid possession guy that can consistently move the chains.  I'd call him a high floor kinda guy that'll end up in 4 star range.

That's fine. Low 4.5s as a high school freshman (I had said sophomore earlier incorrectly) is not "slow" by my standards.

He might not have the 100m burst but long speed he's looking pretty good. Right around 0:50.5 in the 400m isn't bad either (right around 15th or 16th in the state of Michigan).

For comparison, Chesson (who was much taller) ran something like a 0:10.7 100M in high school and a 0:21.86 200M as a senior.
