Heisman Finalists Announced?

Submitted by jonesie022 on
A quick Google search resulted in most sites saying the Heisman finalists are going to be announced tonight... Anybody know when and where? Not a lot of drama but it would be interesting to see if Jabrill gets invited.

I always don it frustrating when my friend and family text me asking mundane, easily answered questions. "What channel is the UM game on?" What is the address to X?" When is movie Y coming out."

I can't imagine how bad they would've been without him. He was absolutely shredding people this year and they still went 5-7

Then again, the Big 12 caveat applies to D'onta just like it applies to Baker Mayfield and Dede Westbrook. A lot of people would have very pretty offensive numbers in that league. Would Lamar Jackscon have passed for 40 TDs and rushed for 30 in that league? Why not

Anyone truly deserving of the Heisman this year? It looks as if all candidates have taken a step back as the finish line nears. I cannot remember a year when no one has separated himself from the pack and I've been following this since the mid 1960's.

If you are going to nominate a guy because of GREAT offensive stats... then the rule should be, he CANT be from a conference that DOESNT PLAY DEFENSE.  Meaning, sure, Westbrook's stats are glossy (as is his QB's), but cmon... against THAT conference?  It's not fair to everyone else.

Pleasantly surprised by Peppers getting the nod. I was worried that the out of touch voters wouldn't realize how much he does for this team that isn't easily found in the box score.

He could have won it if he had a few more returns, a few more interceptions, some forced fumbles and done more on offense.  What could have been.  He had a pretty disappointing season to be honest.

Peppers 1 int, 0 forced fumbles, 170 yards offense, 3 rushing TD's, 1 punt return.

Woodson had 7 int's.  Tyrann Mathieu had 6 FF's.
