Great article on Harbaugh from MGOBLUE
I was in school at the same time as Harbaugh and my best friend played for Jack at Western...I remember that drive ALOT!!

I especially like how Coach thinks that failure is not an option for him at Michigan. If ever there was a man to return us to the mountain top, he's the guy.
This kind of article feels a little "rose-colored glasses"-ish about his personality; after a few years, when his abrasiveness starts wearing out his welcome - as he has at most every stop in his career - the local Powers That Be need to remember what this last 7 years has felt like. There are a lot of egos around, and egos don't seem to mix well with Harbaughs.
I hear pushing that "Habaugh will wear out his welcome / bolt to the NFL" bullshit are OSU and MSU fans, both of which are terrified of the ass beatings they're about to start receiving every fall.
Harbaugh is Michigan, and we knew exactly what we were getting when we hired him. Yes, he's quirky and not very PC. He's also the best football coach we could have ever hoped to hire.
But nervous for sure. The OSU fans I know recognize that Harbaugh is a complete game changer for Michigan, on par with the Bo hire in 69. An OSU fan I work with is convinced that Meyer is going to become Cooper 2.0 to Harbaugh.
MSU fans are too stupid to talk to, so I'm just speculating about them.
The only place he "wore out his welcome" was with the 49ers, that was only because the owner is a complete idiot. In his previous stops, he left on his own to take better jobs. How is that wearing out one's welcome exactly?

Ease up a little, man.
My favorite line:
"He became one of the top NFL quarterbacks of his generation..."
"Harbaugh started the Quarterback U. legacy at Michigan. Elvis Grbac, Todd Collins, Brian Griese, John Navarre, Chad Henne and Denard Robinson continued it. Determining the guy who has a shot at joining that line is the job of the man who changed the position at Michigan."
How in the world do you not include Tom Brady in this list?
Stole my comment. I have it copied and ready for pasting. Boggles my mind how he isn't mentioned...Or even go back a little before Harbaugh with Ricky Leach and Winging John Wangler
I mean, if I'm Scott Dreisbach, I'm pissed. Of course, I'm not Scott Dreisbach. Am I? No, I'm not. But if I was...
If it was 1986, that's no cell phone he's holding.
Lead by Jim Harbaugh.
