09/13/2018 - 2:56pm I'm thinking we'll try…

I'm thinking we'll try parking in one of the campus lots along Sheridan and take the shuttle to the stadium.  Then we can have several adults hoof it back after the game (pretty sure the shuttles after will be hard to get a spot on) to get the cars and pick a rendevouz point to pick up the rest of the crew. Any obvious holes in that plan?

What's the best bet for parking with tailgating around the stadium?  Our group has a block of 26 tickets that includes many smallish children.  We're staying at a vacation rental near O'hare and packing cars as tight as possible to limit the spots needed.

I would also like to hear more opinions about parking.  The university lots are supposedly free, but look small - any other options?

Oh, shit, listen - really I’m a good guy.  And honest guy, really!  Except that one time.  But really, I care about women!  I have a wife and daughters and they need not fear me!  Maybe that guy who beats women that I kept around for years, but not me!  I look forward to joining my team once my university buries it’s morals so deep they’ll never find them again.

And there is NADA on ESPN about it yet - they must feel pretty conflicted.

I and a group of 25 friends landed 26 tickets in a block through their ticket office over the phone.  This was the morning they were put on sale though, and I heard that they sold out pretty quickly.

I am pumped to see Michigan play somewhere other than the Big House.  Only other away game I've seen live was Utah 2015.

To your question - I'd wait until NW trips up in the nonconference and then pluck some aftermarket seats.

Brock Keener is playing with a broken thumb on his glove hand!  Keener made an impressive throw from his knees in the top of the 6th to catch an attempted base thief in the act as well.

04/20/2018 - 11:01am Yep.

I knew I kept this avatar for something.

04/05/2018 - 10:45am The refs were one sided.

Watched with friends and we all were discussing how the refs seemed to have an agenda. From when Michigan was up 7 to when Nova got up 15 this went on.

Michigan lost because they couldn't hit their shots and Nova had someone that couldn't miss. If the game had remained close though, I don't doubt that we would have ended up extremely salty about the zebras.

04/02/2018 - 2:04pm Getting Zero Done

I went to the Monday planning meeting and did a few other things this morning.  Now I'm just tapping my fingers and watching the clock.

03/28/2018 - 8:27am On NPR's reporting of the story

they mentioned that it appeared someone had tried to delete the pics and video found on Strampel's work computer.

This makes me wonder if Strampel was more involved in the abuse than previously thought.

Will the message in response be via Discord as well?

02/21/2018 - 3:28pm No

No.  Not all Christians hold bigoted views about gays.  Billy Graham is a shitty example to use to define Christians.

02/21/2018 - 3:01pm Screw Billy Graham

Good riddance.

I predict this thread will be deleted.  Glad to hear Bigot Billy Graham has been deleted.

01/30/2018 - 2:35pm I was just looking at tickets

for this weekend on Stubhub.  Figured I might find 3-5 together for $30 apiece or less.  No dice.  If there are unsold seats they should be discounting them to maximize revenue and concessions sales.

I can't bring myself to fork over serious cash and make the 2.5 hour drive from South Haven for a hum drum game vs Minny.

01/25/2018 - 8:50am Very well written piece.

Well worth the read.

01/24/2018 - 2:02pm Maybe he just wants to go to

Maybe he just wants to go to Michigan for Grad School?  I'll trust the coaches that they see a reason to take him on.

01/19/2018 - 8:03am It's her job to know

How much she knew and when?  It's her job to know.  She knew a MSU doctor was under investigation - she didn't bother to even make sure she got the report.  She is delinquent in her duties and has no shame.  It is callus to try to hold on to her position in light of all of this.

01/18/2018 - 12:06pm I've been following the live tweet all morning...

https://twitter.com/i/web/status/954017537536163840

MSU fans should be required to read along if they're still supporting the university's administration.

01/16/2018 - 3:32pm From the CNN Article linked above:

"Patrick Fitzgerald, the lead attorney for Michigan State University in these cases, defended MSU's response in a letter to the Michigan attorney general.

"The evidence will show that no MSU official believed that Nassar committed sexual abuse prior to newspaper reports in the summer of 2016," he wrote, according to the university."

I think this is possibly a slip up.  The point is if MSU officials knew about allegations against Nassar - not whether or not they believed it.

01/10/2018 - 8:15am The schedule looks very

The schedule looks very promising down the stretch IMO.

01/10/2018 - 8:13am Remaining Schedule

W   Mon, Jan. 15 Maryland 6:30 p.m., FS1

W   Sun, Jan. 21 Rutgers Noon, BTN

W   Mon, Jan. 29 Northwestern 7 p.m., FS1
W   Sat, Feb. 3 Minnesota 2:30 p.m., FOX

I love how well Michigan Basketball develops and improves seemingly every season under Beilein.  The guy is a top 10 coach all time in terms of player development IMO. Having the B10 down overall this year will hurt from a seeding perspective, but on the other hand we should get to see a lot of wins against B10 teams as compared to years past.

Looking at the remaining schedule, I see 2 very probable losses and the rest of the schedule very winnable.  Our away games against Nebraska, Northwestern, and Wisconsin are all vs teams currently ranked >70 in KenPom.  I definitely like our chances in all home games up to Ohio.  As well as the team is currently playing, it's no stretch to see Michigan 22-6 (11-4) heading into the last three games of the regular season.

With continued improvement from the freshmen, and overall team cohesion typical of a late season Beilein coached team, I could easily imagine Michigan taking 2/3 out of those last three games.  There will probably be a clunker or two in the games remaining, but I'd be surprised if Michigan didn't end up at least 22-9, with 24-7 as a ceiling going into the postseason.

That'd be a very good season.  Go Blue!

Cocks, cocks, and more cocks

12/28/2017 - 12:36pm Kill their athletic department.

If this business with Nassar lawsuits ends up costing Michigan taxpayers millions or billions of dollars, Michigan State should be required to end their athletic department.

12/15/2017 - 8:11am I was ok with the movie.

Not nearly enough lightsaber duels though.

12/13/2017 - 9:58am How much is the early B10 tournament going to hurt?

With the Big 10 looking so weak, I would imagine that having our conference wrap things up with a week to go will make the committee members conveniently discount Big 10 teams in favor of teams playing up to Selection Sunday.

12/07/2017 - 1:55pm Way Worse

Nassar was molesting children while posing as a doctor and while on the clock.  MSU brass basically told the victims to shut up and continued to protect him despite many allegations. MSU is far more complicit in this shitshow than even PSU was in theirs.

12/06/2017 - 9:00am Thanks.

This sounds about like what I expected.  Thank you for the information.

12/06/2017 - 8:57am I have a lot of respect for the opinions of MGoBloggers

There are plenty of people on here that can offer me advice based on their own experiences. Asking is the only way to get their input, so...

12/04/2017 - 12:06pm I was there from the beginning.
