The University of Michigan Football Team is playing for its third straight B1G Championship tomorrow.

This is cause for celebration.

And excitement.

And anticipation.

And banging...

Technically speaking , we're all nearing end of life, but I hopefully have quite a few years to go lol.

No, I'm riding off into the sunset. Quitting football fandom due to the new environment it's in - I don't like where the sport is headed and the importance/tradition of The Game just ended as we knew it.

I'm beyond thrilled and grateful that Michigan has accomplished so much and it's time for me to step away from football and care for my family. It isn't a healthy thing for me.

I love a 13th game that's not a bowl game yet, truly a celebration and after waiting so many years to be in it, it is so nice to do it 3 years in a row!!!

Let's beat Iowa down, Go Blue!!!

I predict a 37-6 win!

Can't wait to hear the talking heads opine about how Cade and All "must be feeling now". Also looking forward to seeing Coach back on the sidelines. Finally? Coach hoisting the trophy then quickly handing it off to the players with one of his goofy smiles: "can't out happy happy!"

I'm thinking 38-9.

Bang!

Given that it's Iowa, I can't tell if that's a TD + a safety or 3 field goal scores.  I forced myself to watch this Iowa team (I had money on the game) and I don't know if you know but they have a defensive tackle playing quarterback.  3 field goals against our defense seems improbable, so I guess it's the former interpretation then!

Last Saturday's win still feels weird to me. I think I've realized why - this is a team that should compete for a national championship, not just compete with Ohio State. Ohio State did everything they could, both on and off the field to stop us, and it still wasn't enough. Our real goals are still ahead of us. Next step, Iowa!
