ESPN.com: Mistake or Sparty Troll?

I believe the "green" referred to cashing in on the Harbaugh celebrity, not a reference to the Spartans. If anyone, an intern who probably can't find Michigan with a GPS made the faux pas.

I saw that as well.  Unless interns are creating the headlines these people are supposed to know sports so it was almost certainly intentional.

@AdamSchefter Sources from inside the 49ers organization have informed me that Jim Harbaugh will be let go.  Raiders, Bears, Falcons, Jets, Patriots rumored to be making offers.  Officials from some school somewhere in the Midwest believe they have a shot (LOL!).

I saw that also and I'd say the answer is neither.  It's just a poorly phrased headline...  it links to an article about the Harbaugh related merchandise that's already being sold.  I believe the "Go Green" refers to the money that's expected to be generated.

Get this - ESPN is criticizing Michigan for "cashing-in" on college football, and Harbaugh in particular.

Just when you thought the WWL couldn't get any lower.

The best Sparty related media today was a couple of tweets quoting Dantonio saying there would be no discussion of Michigan or Harbaugh during their Q and A at the Cotton Bowl.

I nearly posted about this, too. But then realized that it was referring to money.

As others have said, it was poorly phrased.
