I'm somewhat worried about how the class finishes but I'm at peace because I've never been more confident about Gary. I can tell you this, the staff has done something that reflects their confidence at the level of absolute certainty. I don't hear much about Michigan recruits working for the SEC but this one I have.

I had an uncanny ability to predict these things when I followed recruiting to a disturbing degree (2001-2012). I still can't explain it but I could take a kid's location, physical appearance (lol, I know), style of play (not system but how he looked on the field), general attitude and other seemingly meaningless things to predict landing spots to a strangely accurate degree. My guesses after a few days of caring about recruiting/study: Murphy - would have been a Harbaugh commit this time last year if still at Stanford. He wants to play for the man but Michigan is far away and he seems like a warm climate or generally WC guy. I'd still say Michigan leads but it'll be one of those things where any number of tiny things could send him elsewhere. Asiasi and Tagaloa - both would also be at Stanford already if Harbaugh was there. It's a WC thing and while Boss was never coming to UM I think Asiasi wants to. That said, both will end up on the WC and likely UCLA. Nordin - is going to Michigan as long as we want him. USC/Baxter gives slight threat but that kid is my "lockiest of locks" on the remaining board and has been forever. Gary - seems all but signed but I won't jinx it or say more. I have ZERO read on Hill/Fuller. Going on my crazy formula I'd say Fuller seems more like an osu player. I'm not saying it's his best fit or anything other than he looks like an osu guy like Hudson physically looks like a UM Football player (doesn't he?!). Hill also seems like an msu guy but I don't think he fits best there or anything. I'd say Fuller to osu and Hill to msu with Hill being the more likely UM commit of the two. Yet, that's common thought so I have no read on them my opinion is very biased by WOTS. BONUS PREDICTION: If he waits until after 3pm on NSD, Pie Young will be in this class. Those WC kids make up too much of our remaining board and we'll go 1-3 (at best), IMO. We'll have a spot and he'll get the chance to take it if he holds off on sending his LOI.

What's the deal with Quinn Nordin?

It's really weird that this class may end up overly weighted towards skill guys versus the OL and DL. I know it's probably an anomaly, but it is going to keep this from being an amazing class. Really good of course, but not the A plus it once looked like it could be.

I'm basing my predictions of these players on the timing of their respective announcements in relation to the Signing of the Stars event, which goes from 11 am to 1 pm.

Nordin: 11 am = UM

Tagaloa: Noon = UM

Asiasi: Noon = UM

Murphy: 2 pm = Not UM  =*(

...

Oh, and Gary: 1 pm = UM (because he would be the event's final act, obviously)
