Weddings are a big fucking waste of time, money and emotional capital. Half of all marriages end in divorce. The ones that last a long time involve one or both people wallowing in misery. The kids? Kids get a raw deal either way. They grow up and disappoint.

Don't be an enabler to that flawed part of human existence. Stay home and watch the game.

My wife and I got married on my parent’s property. They had seven acres of property with a small creek towards the back. We rented a big tent, had guests carry in food like you would for a summer gathering, and had a local high school string quartet play music. Lined a kiddie pool with a nice liner, filled it with ice and a ton of beverages, and let people bring whatever they wanted to drink and tossed in the kiddie pool. It was cheap and it was also amazing. We did that on August 31st.

16 years later we still look back fondly on our decision. I’m lucky though because for our anniversary she’s happy with football and for Valentines Day she likes to go watch the Red Wings.

Yes. We got married in navy housing. Got a keg and some snacks, had some friends over, and had the preacher do it in the living room. February is our 25th anniversary. Never saw the sense in spending thousands and making the start of your life together so much more financially difficult than it needs to be

Chase can have his winovich game right about now...

Having dwumfour or Solomon back would be more useful than Gary back for this game. Paye/hutch combo has been doing real good tbh

Rotate Kemp,lo Marshall,Mone and deploy Solomon sparingly. Let dwumfour And Gary heal.

Is it just me, or does Michigan basically give ESPN nothing to work with for GameDay? This is free advertising for the program, but watching the show it doesn’t even feel like it’s a Michigan show. And it’s not the first time it’s been like this. Fort Schembechler strikes again.

How did they settle on the Chainsmokers? We have a ton of famous alums. Plus a ton of former players. Seems like here are several dozen better options. And I don’t even know their ties to UofM
