Chris Wormley's offer list?
Read this article on Toledo Blade which says Michigan is wormley's leader (nothing new there), but it also mentions:
Every Big Ten school except for Minnesota and Penn State have offered Wormley (6-foot-6, 270 pounds) a scholarship, as have Florida, Tennessee, and Alabama from the Southeastern Conference.
Could anyone confirm this? His scout profile lists no such offers, nor does rivals.
sorry bout that
Yeah but then I'm wondering why scout doesn't even show interest from those schools, let alone offers
profile don't show every single offer that a kid may have. And, the profile is based on the recruit's interest not a school's. So, just because Bama offered doesn't mean it will show up because Wormley has expressed no interest in them.
Point being, don't trust the Rivals and Scout profiles as the gospel of offers
But the Toledo Blade is trash
And by "details" I mean "the entirety of the story."
- Also Michael Rosenberg
Wormley's offer list has always been confusing - he's regarded as one of the best DEs in the country, but only has us, OSU, and a few other schools?
I always assumed it was because he made it clear it was between OSU and M early, so why bother offering.
I don't know if I like this Rosenberg cat... Oh well his job will make like a rainforest and disappear after newspapers make like my confidence on a first date and disappear.

He's listed at 6'6"/250, 6'4"/225 and 6'4"/255 by Scout, 247 sports and Rivals respectively. I know he's a great player at any weight but the difference between 225 and 270 could mean the difference between DE and DT, couldn't it? I hope Hoke gets him either way. My brother-in-law is assistant AD at Toledo and lives in Whitmer SD and said he is as good as advertised.
I think that 247 is the outlier in this grouping, and that Wormley will be a SDE in college.
Yeah, everything we've read about him recently on this board suggests that he's much bigger than that. Additionally, the discrepancy could be because of a lack of an update on his profile.
If the paper is listing 6'6" 270 right now, that might not be far off. I've heard from another report that he was up to 270 as well. Just like with Braden, the weights listed on the recruiting sites might be old, since Wormley has had a recruiting profile for a long time, and I can't remember his numbers ever changing.
Even if this article is fudging a little, I bet it's not by much. At a minimum I'd say he's 6'4"/6'5" 260 and could be pushing 270.
As far as position, either him or Godin will be a 3-tech, maybe both depending on what happens with Washington.
To switch inside, you generally want a shorter more compact player. Between Strobel, Godin, and Wormely I would expect at least one to move inside eventuall.
but that won't stop me: I don't know how important height (or lack thereof) is for DT, 3-tech in particular. Alan Branch is 6'6", Kevin Williams is 6'5" while Suh, McCoy, and Odrick, 3 first round DTs of the 2010 draft, were 6'4"+. I think build and technique will play a greater role in establishing which, if any, of these guys will move inside.
Can someone specify how one analyst can have him at one weight and another have him at another weight that is significantly different then the other weight?
Gravity is stronger the deeper you get into Ohio.
The result? Ohio sucks.
I suspect it has to do with his interest. I just went through the Buckeye Planet Wormley thread and there were several offers mentioned that aren't on Scout or Rivals. More than a year ago they showed offers from Nebraska and Texas A&M. Recently they mention an offer from Notre Dame.
Like everyone else said, he probably has those offers but has shown no interest, and that's why Scout and Rivals don't show any interest.
Yes. Quick, pull the scholarship offer.
