It was a poor choice made worse by the misspelling. Obviously, it wasn't just me who was concerned/confused about the title. Seemed a lot like clickbait.
It would be like saying "JIM HARBAUGH'S COAACH HEADING TO THE NFL" when it was Matt Weiss getting hired by the Ravens or something. Just a weird choice of words, man.

when i'm skimming thread titles to click on i don't thoughtfully read every single word in every title. i just scan everything and my brain picks out key words like names, schools, or things like hired/fired/injured/portal/etc. so when i clicked, the only things i had processed were ben herbert/hired/purdue. i think most people process information the same way, although my mom always did tell me i was special so idk

Am just glad it wasn't Ben. Probably a good move for Kiero Small. He's relatively young and has a good career ahead of him. Surely he learned an awful lot from Ben.
