Just turned on the MSU-NW game. I may find alternate programming. Things don't look pretty.
The trio of Crawford, Demps, and Olah aren't terrible. Throw in the token white guy that can hit some threes, and they have enough horsepower to hang with the potent offense of MSU.
What's the B1G 10? Is this the new name of the conference when we change to twenty teams?

NW is very poopy. Which means Iowa must be very shitty.
Northwestern's offense is positively Amakeresque tonight.
I feel bad for NW - they have 6 guy rotation and 5 of them will be working in accounting firms within 24 months. They dont have 1 guy who plays above the rim - total mismatch in athleticism. They have to play the whole game and if you get 2 fouls you are basically screwed since there is no backup to rest / protect you. WTF is wrong with Iowa.
Demps can get up. Doesn't help that he's only 6'2'' though.
If NW can get this to single digits before half, then they have a shot.
MSU is shooting %50+, and is thriving on TO's. Correct those TO's and MSU cools off, and NW has this in the bag.
Uhh no Steve. The longer the game goes the more NW will grind down. They have no bench and no offese other than dribble for 98% of the shot clock and jack up a shot.
If they can get someone to box out Dawson, then they are right in this game.
Like I said, if they can get this to single digits, then they're okay. If not, then it's over. NW isn't build to make a big comeback in 2nd halfs.

then you have to keep in mind that Iowa played like a three seed for the first 25 games.
What to do? At present, they suck, but they would have been a reasonable outside-the-popular favorites pick for National Champion in a 50+-entrant March Madness pool in mid-February.
