That makes this even more UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:35 PM ^
Yeah, but let's not jump the gun guys, if he gets bombed by 38 it will show real progress to everyone!
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:42 PM ^
Why are you getting so touchy?
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:47 PM ^
Maybe you misinterpreted my post? I was just looking at some hand picked statistics and since we're showing progress, if they mimic us, then they must clearly be doing the same, based on my hand picked metric of 'margain of loss'. Just trying to be optimistic. Or am I doing it wrong?
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:49 PM ^
I think you might be doing life wrong.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:52 PM ^
Yeah you're right, I should stop making references to a coach and just watch the Orange Bowl. You saved me from looking like a real douche.
January 3rd, 2011 at 10:06 PM ^
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:20 PM ^
As much as the circumstances suck, I think this comparison is fun.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:20 PM ^
Watching Tyrod Taylor, does anyone think that Denard or Devin could not fit into a pro-style and be successful?
Obviously in the spread their talents are maximized, but they could still be the best players on field.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:22 PM ^
No Jim Harbaugh rumors? Unacceptable, Sportscenter.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:25 PM ^
This kid looks like a freak of nature.
But after watching Denard all year, Taylor looks to be slow and have a weak arm by comparison.
Whatever happens this offseason with coaching, PLEASE DONT LEAVE ME DENARD!
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:28 PM ^
Looked OK on that TD pass.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:31 PM ^
Denard as a senior would scored 7 td's in that time span
(Just kidding, that was sick)
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:27 PM ^
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:27 PM ^
Really! TD...my Lord!
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:27 PM ^
What poor tackling on this Stanford team. LOL. That's on the coach for hiring such a horrible DC.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:29 PM ^
Dude are you losing it? Maybe you just need to get away from the computer for awhile...
January 3rd, 2011 at 10:41 PM ^
I think he's on quite the roll.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:32 PM ^
Would be true....if this was his third straight pantings of the season. Or if they hadn't played a good game since September. Or were ranked lower than 100. Or weren't, you know, in THE ORANGE BOWL.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:41 PM ^
And go back to when he got beat by 5-7 Wake Forest in year three so I can be super jealous of that 90th ranked defense.
UNACCEPTABLE!!!!!
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:56 PM ^
He didn't lose to USC by 30 that year.

Really, if This is turning you into His Dudeness, it's time to take a deep breath and let go.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:28 PM ^
What a play by Taylor staying in bounds and zinging it for the TD,
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:28 PM ^
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:32 PM ^
..
edit: guess not.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:30 PM ^
Someday, at some school, maybe Denard will do that in a BCS game...
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:33 PM ^
JH just lied to try to get the ref to call TT out of bounds and then yelled at TT from the sidelines. Classless act by the Stanford coach. That's on the Stanford coach. What a bad guy. He's not a Michigan Man.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:35 PM ^
We get it, dude.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:45 PM ^
Agreed, JH seems nasty and abrasive but i'd love it if he comes here and stirs the pot in the big ten.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:33 PM ^
I dig JH as a possible coach but talking shit to a player during the game is lame.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:34 PM ^
better than rubbing stuffed animals into your players faces....
just saying...
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:44 PM ^
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:50 PM ^
You again...last time we met you had 1700+ points and you were going to neg me into Bolivian for supporting RR...what happened?
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:52 PM ^
what happened?52-14 happened.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:53 PM ^
Do you always start off a debate with an insult? Great tactic... if you are a 4 year old.
January 3rd, 2011 at 11:37 PM ^
i started off debates with a toy truck upside my foe's head
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:46 PM ^
Shit, if that had slowed down Iowa, PSU, MSU, OSU, Wisconsin, or the other MSU's offenses, I'd have taken it. Instead, they shat all over us.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:52 PM ^
to come to Michigan? How about basically forcing your new employer to pay your buyout? Or saying that Lombardi could not get his players to play well. Many perceive those as the acts of a classless jerk.
What I find funny about these criticisms of Harbaugh--some legit--is that many at WVU did the same thing with RR. So why is one outrageous and the other is acceptable?
I think Bo would be embarrassed by UM's 'fans". From the DickRod assaults to the slurs against Harbaugh, this fan base has seen some unMichigan Man like behavior these past three years.
Frankly, I am tired of it all. Neither RR or Harbaugh deserve these attacks. Yes, both are flawed men, but are not we all flawed men?
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:57 PM ^
Or recruiting other teams' committed players. Lloyd Carr didn't brandish much snake oil in his time.
January 3rd, 2011 at 10:01 PM ^
Chad Henne ring a bell?
January 3rd, 2011 at 10:12 PM ^
But when had Henne ever actually committed to Penn State? In any regard, there was nothing wrong with it for Rich either. But the cheap shots are flying everywhere. I thought we were watching a football game? (Yeah, right).
January 3rd, 2011 at 10:13 PM ^
January 3rd, 2011 at 10:18 PM ^
THAT'S ugly.
January 4th, 2011 at 12:42 AM ^
Stanford beat Oregon last year.
And after watching Stanford's second half against VT, is there really any argument left for Stanford's offense being "boring" or "mediocre?" They looked orders of magnitude more creative and balanced than we did against Miss St., especially if you compare second halves.
I feel for RR...he's a good guy whose tenure has been plagued by distractions. First it was the lawsuits from his messy WVU divorce. Then it was the Freep's hatchet job. Then it was the Harbaugh-of-Damocles hanging over his head by the end of 2009. I think it's fair to say that he had to deal with headaches most coaches never have to. But he also made a slew of mistakes, particularly with regards to his defensive staff, but also in handling his own recruits (attrition, etc.). Mistakes+headaches = disappointment.
It's time for a change, and Jimmy offers the possibility of both an exciting and high scoring offense, and a disciplined, aggressive defense. Of course, we might not get him. I hope the list of second choices extends beyond the lands of Hoke and Fitzgerald to more inspiring dominions...
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:34 PM ^
run, run, pass punt. Just kidding ... sort of.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:37 PM ^
No-one is suggesting the spread is somehow inferior to prostyle offense. It's more that not tackling is inferior to tackling.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:38 PM ^
Stewart had 13 carries all season
He's had the two biggest runs for the Cardinal so far in the game
Maybe when he's coaching the 49ers in his spare time, he can send Rodriguez some tips on RB rotation?
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:38 PM ^
You look at Taylor and Luck's mobility and realize...Denard is fast as hell.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:47 PM ^
Holy shiot you are correct there sir.
January 3rd, 2011 at 9:40 PM ^
Can Michigan hire VT's special teams coach?
