Tate came in really clutch. But I jsut want to know the status of Denard. Other than that...
WERE GOING BOWLING BABY!!!!!!!!!!!! BOWL ELIGIBILITY SHFJHFPDUFHPADUIOFPOIDF!!!!!!!!!
November 6th, 2010 at 4:04 PM ^
Denard was one of the first players on the field jumping up and down. Hopefully the hand will recover but I feel good about Tate running this team.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:25 PM ^
not hand, Denard is fine
November 6th, 2010 at 4:14 PM ^
I'm really proud of our team and coaches. There were so many times when it felt like last year (if not last years game against Illinois), like the team was collapsing, like sloppiness and poor decision making were going to doom all of their strides once again. But they never gave up. Even with Denard out, and Tate fumbling his first play, the offense never gave up. Even after failing to diagnose a misdirection play for the third time, the defense never gave up. The team played their hearts out through three overtimes and it showed. They deserve this win more than any team I can remember. I'm proud that we got to share it with them too.
GO BLUE!

when Tate came in I was like:
"I felt a great disturbance in the Force, as if millions of voices suddenly cried out in terror and were suddenly silenced."
And at the end I was like:
“These blast points — too accurate for sandpeople. Only imperial stormtroopers are so precise.”
Such a great game.
November 7th, 2010 at 7:21 PM ^
at the end I was like:
"The force is strong with this one."
:D

November 6th, 2010 at 4:46 PM ^
know what happened. I only had like 750 points in the middle of the day yesterday and I got an email saying I lost all of my points. Not really sure what happened. I don't even fucking care though. Go Blue and Thank you Mr. Forcier.

Did you perhaps refer to our agriculturally-inclined brethren to the West with a word that beings with "S," ends in "a," and has "partin" in the middle?
November 7th, 2010 at 7:20 PM ^
Look at my history. Just meaningless drivel. Oh well.
November 6th, 2010 at 3:57 PM ^
No quit in this team.
November 6th, 2010 at 3:58 PM ^
best thread I've ever seen!!

I'm only 24 and I feel like I was gonna have a heart attack...but it would be totally worth it! One of the best games I've ever been to! TOTAL BEDLAM!!! WOOOOOOOOOO!!1!!!!!111!!
November 6th, 2010 at 3:59 PM ^
Mike Martin came back in the 2nd half and played through injury. Shaw had a huge impact on the game late. BOWL GAME!
GO BLUE!
November 6th, 2010 at 4:00 PM ^
You can tell the impact he had in the 2nd half. Illinois was far less effective.
November 6th, 2010 at 3:59 PM ^
Did you see Barwis crying??? I think the tear was made of cement
November 6th, 2010 at 4:04 PM ^
It burned right through the turf and down to the center of the earth.
November 6th, 2010 at 3:59 PM ^
Saw Denard clapping after the game (on the field). No badages or wraps on either hand. Let's hope he's good for the Boilers.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:00 PM ^
But I didn't think our D played that bad. Compared to last week, I actually thought we would get stops at times.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:19 PM ^
This looked like a different defensive team (aside from the 65). A lot of stops, held them to a couple of field goals in the read zone... and the BIG STOP AT THE END.
They seemed to be more agressive and loose.
Go Blue!
November 6th, 2010 at 4:00 PM ^
I have never been SO HAPPY with giving up 65 points in my life. HELL YES GO BLUE!!
November 6th, 2010 at 4:01 PM ^
Mike Martin- what a beast still playing and contributing even though he's obviously limited. Courtney Avery- making up for JT and then some. Tate stepping up and giving us what we need. Wide receivers- making it happen when it counted. ROY ROUNDTREE OH MY GOD. HURRAY EVERYONE PARTY TIME.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:06 PM ^
Junior was absolutely amazing in the OT's. Clutch clutch clutch.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:20 PM ^
Roundtree and Hemingway can each wear .5?
November 6th, 2010 at 5:47 PM ^
How about 1A and 1B?
November 6th, 2010 at 4:01 PM ^
Let this be the beginning of another 33 year bowl streak.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:01 PM ^
Did we ever find out what happened to Denard? Awesome play by Tate though.

Concussion symptoms
November 6th, 2010 at 4:02 PM ^
Maybe (though I doubt it) this gives the RichRod haters a couple days off. I have never respected a group of Michigan players more for their perseverence in difficult circumstances. They could have given that game up...
Those who stay.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:17 PM ^
I'll take it, too. I'm not concerned about the RichRod haters. I've given up trying to reason with people who believe that Lloyd would have gone 9-3 with the '08 team (and that only poor coaching kept the '09 and '10 draft numbers low). No -- it's the moderates that interest me.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:02 PM ^
Happy drinks tonight instead of sad drinks!! Yay!!!!
November 6th, 2010 at 4:04 PM ^
Great win for the team. Right now, it doesn't matter that there were 65 points given up. All that matters is that they stopped those 2 at the end. Everyone left their hearts on the field, and I love them for it. Congrats, enjoy it, you guys definitely deserved to get a win.
Wooooooooooooooooooooo!

November 6th, 2010 at 4:05 PM ^
is the time that I love coming on this board the most. Great win today and BOWL ELIGIBLE!!!
November 6th, 2010 at 4:05 PM ^
Courtney Avery really stepped up today.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:11 PM ^
November 6th, 2010 at 4:21 PM ^
He was put into a very similar situation to the one he faced against Iowa a couple of weeks ago, but this time he made an exceptional open field tackle to kill a drive. He also made a tremendous play later in the game, fighting off a blocker to make a nice tackle. Great job Courtney, way to bounce back.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:06 PM ^
Never give up! So happy for these kids and coaches. Ugly ugly win but just what we needed, a win.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:07 PM ^
Our D made some stops today, but everyone take some B-blockers to control your heart. The 4th quarter turnovers were dong punches to the max, but man did we fight back and earn this win.
November 6th, 2010 at 4:07 PM ^
I did all my chores for the last 3 days, I stood up at just the right times, and cheered and shouted words of encouragement to the TV at just the right times. I'm sure you guys did too, and with all that karma, we won! Oh yeah, and the players were awesome too!!
GO BLUE!!!!!
November 6th, 2010 at 4:08 PM ^
The way our receivers played today - any aspiring receiver would be inspired.
Here,s hoping to see Arnett under the block M banner!
November 6th, 2010 at 4:08 PM ^
Its actually just 'The Players' /s
AWESOME GAME. Give me some recruits!!!
November 6th, 2010 at 4:08 PM ^
Of course we're all exstatic that we are making a bowl game. Whheewww. But I'm at work and everyone is wondering why I am so happy just because we made a bowl game. That sucks cause we've stooped to that level. But this it, another streak started. Go Blue! Fuck these suckeye fans!
