Experienced MGoBloggers Comments
Not sure this is possible, but I would think it would be interesting to have a discuss limitied to the most experienced MGoBloggers (those with >10,000 points???) about what their thoughts wrt the direction the program ought to head -- stay the course, fire GERG, nuke the entire D staff...
Keeping it to the most experience MGoBloggers would eliminate the pictures of people lighting farts and the snarky comments. Most of them have probably expressed such an opinion, but this would consolidate their thoughts at one spot.
EDIT: The original idea was to try and use MGoPoints as a proxy for Block M's suggestion for a discussion for which the participants had to pass some sort of football knowledge competency test first. Based on the response, I now recognize the error of my way. MGoPoints and football knowledge are not necessarily correlated. My apologies to any I have offended -- I let my MGoDreams cloud my MGoJudgment.

Very well, just curious. (I didn't realize how creepy my initial comment came off lol.)

To qualify for the dead hooker clean up at the meetings...?

You don't have 10,000 points, no one is listening to your football gibberish...you sound like the teacher on Charlie Brown until you get 1426 more points.

Am i the only one that saw this and was sickened by it? lol

I would flood the thread with childish pictures and movie quotes. Pretty much what I do in normal threads.

Photo browsing so much more entertaining than reading.
Sorry Reading Rainbow

And you should only seek information about sports from the "analysts" on ESPN, and on politics from folks on Fox News and MSNBC. They have been given elevated status, so they obviously are THE experts. Don't worry about exactly why they were elevated.

There'd be more touche's than a Zorro movie. It'd be epic. Put it behind a paywall even. The OP's a genius.

See, we can laugh at ourselves.

And this is the problem with have mgopoints. Higher points =/= smarter person.
November 5th, 2010 at 12:03 PM ^
That will give you a good idea about how points are awarded.
November 5th, 2010 at 12:04 PM ^
It would be very prudent to have some intelligent and well versed argouments on the current situation and schemes of Michigan football. I personally would find it both enlightening and . . . . . please excuse me for moment.
I'm sorry. What were we talking about?
November 5th, 2010 at 12:04 PM ^
I'm over 2000 away from your threshold, but most of my football knowledge comes from video games and I doubt that will change when/if I reach 10,000.
November 5th, 2010 at 12:07 PM ^
I'm pretty sure we'd be winning national titles every year if Rodriguez would only give it to Bo Jackson on the sweep every single play. That offense works in any realm of reality.

When he doubled back all the way to his own endzone I completely freaked out. That is incredible.

Running speed = 50 and Hitting Power = 44?!?
The real LT and Ronnie Lott disagree.

In addition to points they could log the hours people spend on here on a counter by your avatar. Maybe it is like Gladwell says in Blink that you need to do something for 10,000 hours in order to be an expert (aka nerd).

I think you're trying to fix stupid. Ron White says you can't fix stupid.
November 5th, 2010 at 12:11 PM ^
you get...
November 5th, 2010 at 12:14 PM ^
pictures of lighting farts. Which I find hilarious. The lighting farts part, I mean.
I've never even played Tecmo, so I can't even tell GERG how to play our linebackers, so I'm no help. Sorry.

No thread has made me more proud of my low stature amongst the bourgeois of the MGoBlog! Thank you for the insight... Low points = Childish & Stupid
November 5th, 2010 at 12:30 PM ^
Interesting how you inferred that low points = childish and stupid from an idea to have a discussion amongst the most experieced MGoBloggers as shown by points.
I'll take "Lucy the shrink" for a nickle Alex.

Maybe everyone should bump you up right here and now. Can one post get 800 points? Shall we find out?
Then you can let us know how the immense surge of smartness feels, allowing you at the end to take part in this conversation. Perhaps like a good acid trip? mushrooms?
