Not many interesting games on at noon.  What's everyone watching?

That was one of the nastiest hits I have seen in a while.  It looked pretty clean, but his head really snapped forward before being slammed back into the turf.

Miami looked pretty bad before Harris left, and now they look awful.  They were OSU's one quality win over a decent team.  OSU still has to play Iowa and us, but their schedule currently doesn't look that great.

He just said "If you throw an interception, don't make matters worse by getting yourself hurt."  He was obviously referring to Jacori Harris.  Yet the update from the UVa - Miami game clearly showed that Harris got hurt when he was lit-up just after releasing the pass, so it's not as though he did something foolish after the interception that resulted in the injury.  WTF?

NIce little back and forth to end that half in Bloomington. IU's D has looked competent for the most part

Storyline now is can the Cuse hold on for another big win......and if the Vols can stay in this and somehow nip the Gamecocks, then the SEC East race is even more choatic and the stakes for the Cocktail Party later today are raised several pints worth of Bourbon and Lynchburg Lemonade

I just spent the better part of the morning running some errands here and there in a typical retail strip deep in the heart of Nittany country.  Naturally, I was sporting a maize and blue hoodie and in the morning even featured the beanie Tate made famous last year.

Long story short, PSU-wearing locals eyed me everywhere I went AND SAID NOTHING.  The most flak I caught was from some bandwagon Buckeye who thinks Krenzel is the best current QB in the Big Ten.  At any rate, last year I endured a literal onslaught of verbal assault from the Penn State faithful, but this year, they are indeed ascared.

They can smell the blood in the water, and it is their own.  Unleash the sharks with dreadlocks.

Horrible holding call on UVa. That WR bitched that DB for 10 yards just pushing him straight back. WR had hands inside, no jersey pulling, just flat out destroyed that corner.

I think the ref was so amazed on how badly that DB was playing that he had to assume it was holding.

I think you can cross "punting" off of your list of things Purdue doesn't suck at.

Which leaves... uh... Completions to Tacopants, and maybe coach's ability to grow 80's moustache?

Alright I'm going to ask because I always see it and I feel like I'm that awkward guy who laughs at other peoples inside jokes... How did the Tacopants stuff originate?

Brian deemed Jason Avant's invisible friend Tacopants. He's like 16 feet tall, made of dreams, and has unending eligibility. Tacopants was Henne's favorite target.

Also known as Chad Henne loved to overthrow Avant.

I find it hard to believe that isn't in the FAQ or HOF. If it isn't, it should be.

Other than the second half against MSU, the Illini have looked pretty good.  Right now, they are up 31-0 on Purdue and they are seriously looking like the biggest obstacle over the next 3 weeks.  Are Purdue and Penn State really that bad, or is Illinois getting good?
