2018 Jordan/Nike Michigan gear starting to come out (Photos)
It's that time of year again where Nike gets the last of their spring gear out and starts to debut their line for the following season. All new stuff from Jordan/Nike.

The Nike stuff consistently sucks. Very 80s.
the shorts wouldn't have a 15" inseam and I might actually like the overall design. The new Nike stuff has sucked in a very modern way.
the 80s!
Also, most of the Nike stuff fits like shit.
But not to the public....
Nothing is more annoying that whining about how little some rich guy "gives back" with his own money... especially when you have no freaking clue what you are talking about. Go ahead and give your millions (LOL) to whatever charity you support, and stop criticizing others for what they (supposedly) do and do not give. Class warfare at it's worst.
Those shirts with the huge Nike swoosh and afterthought Michigan are turrible.
New York tabloids use fewer slammers. Can we get one sentence that ends in a period?
in the OP's picture.
This idiot, probably.
I kinda expected more.
Is this just the coat closet by the front door?
considering he got rid of all of his addidas gear just a few years ago and seems to buy new gear at premium pricing. These are just the t-shirts, shirts and jerseys too. Once you add in the shorts, shoes, sweatshirts, jackets, whatever else, it is probably a lot of new gear.
Nike, if you're listening, please make more subtle Michigan gear. Dri-fit with small M logos are the best. We always get huge logos. THanks
Put the Jordan logo on the sleeve and the M on the chest.
They look like they are competing for space. We get it both are powerful logos.
$16.95 at the MDen
Simple and awesome. Do they still make short mesh shorts? My last pair gave out a decade ago, and everything I've seen since is far more Jalen than Rumeal.
however the colors are accurate, when I fold my clothes and put them in my special sports gear drawer you can see the difference in the maize, Nike's is way better looking.
Also, the tank tops look cool with the wider shoulder strap instead of the narrow look the BBall team wears, I wish they would change that for the team.
I liked the highlighter maize better, but at least the maize is consistent now on everything . . . jerseys, pants, numbers, even the helmet stripes.
I was beginning to think there was some chromatic aberration in the universe that just naturally prevented this from ever happening.
I buy all of them....as soon as we beat osu
I'm not a big fan of having a North Carolina basketball guy on Michigan attire. It's a little bit insulting for basketball, and just strange for football.
But I'm OK with it if it helps in recruiting.
Thing is . . . I no longer think it does. Everybody is doing it now. It's played out.
Wake me when we see a Tom Brady silhouette on an Ohio State uni.
4, count em, 4 have Jordan for football. One of them is UNC which doesn't count because they're crap.
This UNC doesn't count?
Yep, Jordan has become invaluable in recruiting 3-stars.
/maizened not really
I have a feeling the shitty season last year contributes a lot more to the down year of recruiting that the 2018 class is.
everyone is following us and getting it for football.
Hence the problem.
There is nothing compelling about it anymore. Recruits are yawning.
It's just a basketball guy on a football uniform.
Crazy expensive, but I really enjoy the few pieces of Jordan gear I have.
I would buy some of this if it weren't overpriced. I guess I'll stick to my mgoblog printed tees. Cool story: My family went on vacation in Minneapolis around the time the NCAAB championship was going on, and Michigan fans are everywhere. My whole family was decked out in M gear and we received quite a few "Go blue!s" directed our way. The "Worst State Ever" shirt is always good for a reaction, whether an Ohioan not recognizing their own state or otherwise.
complaining about who's logo is on what - you all must be a blast at parties.
I asked it when the first Nike things came out, and I'll be asking it again - what kind of long-torso'd T-Rex armed mutants are they making shirts for????
Looking forward to another 6 months of whining about how expensive the Jordan gear is every time something new comes out. It gets so tiresome - it's like class warfare for sports fans.
Jordan and Nike Dri-fit is higher quality stuff than the cotton gear you can get at the "Meijer Team Store" next to the red wings bumper stickers and tigers camo hats. If you don't like the price, then don't buy it. The constant complaining about the price gets really old.
Michigan is an elite brand and attracted another elite brand. That means some of the stuff is pricey. If you don't like it, there is plenty of non-Jordan gear to be had. Go buy it and wear it and be happy.
I could buy a house for $60,000! I could buy a car for $5000!
All of those things have stayed the same, why is Nike increasing their prices?!
Preach, practice somethin’ somethin’
I havent been overly impressed with Nike, but I thought Adidas was god awful so I'll take it.
