QB Competition Update
Was riding home in an Uber last night when driver told me he picked up one of our tight ends a couple days ago. Said he had to ask about the QB competition, TE said McCaffrey has passed Peters. So looks like Patterson, (Speight???...are you leaving or staying?), McCaffrey, Peters, Milton.

McCartney started out with helmet hair, then started Wings. The program may be in the Yellow Submarine at the moment, but I Imagine that puts Paul in the lead. And Hotel Putingrad is Back in the USSR...
Speight has already left. He'd have to come back, which he won't.

Some of this stuff is true and some of it is made-up. No way to know which this is, of course.
But we're not talking about "naming" people. We're talking about who's in the lead. And, sharing reps or not, the players who are catching the passes probably have a good idea.
And it wouldn't surprise me at all if McCaffrey passed Peters; I've basically predicted as much in the offseason. That doesn't mean that I'm taking this hearsay post as confirmation, but I also suspect it will be impossible to prove false at the end of spring. There were rumors that McCaffrey had passed Peters last year, and the coaching staff has clearly been high on him.

After the BS--this leaves me wondering: Whatever happened to "I" "he" and other small words that are inserted before the verbs? I WAS IN A UBER or THE tight end told HIM
I'm just asking...
Whenever I eat, I almost always save my favorite part of the meal for last. Good way to end a meal. And for whatever reason, I also do this for my mgoblog reading behaviors as well.
All that being said, this is the one I figured would be the most enjoyable and juciest read. Sadly, I was still correct.

My best friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s brother’s girlfriend heard from this guy who knows this kid who’s going with a girl who saw Shea Patterson pass-out at 31 Flavors last night after practice. I guess it’s pretty serious.
Peters didn't look particularly good last year so that would be no surprise. That being said, this is a ridiculous source to trust.
