Or... Will Maryland wear the ugliest fucking uniforms in the history of team sports?

The very bad uniforms are modeled on the very bad state flag, which is the very bad heraldic banner of the (presumably very bad) First Lord Baltimore George Calvert.

NO tradition. This is what you do to draw attention. Pitiful

By some definitions in chemistry and physics, that's freezing rather than just chilly. (Just pointing out for a friend in Florida.) /s

Freezing in Florida is 50's, which it was the other day.

Most dogs do pretty much everything with EUTM. Now, if we're talking EUTC -- "Canine-kind" -- then you're on to something. :)

Here in Michigan - well, at my house just south of Metro Airport - it's 35 degrees, so it's just a smidgen warmer. So there's that.
Of course, then the wind blows and it feels fucking cold, so there's that too.

No, but Michigan will get called for illegal man down field.

we will be called for a chop block. We get at least one of those a game.
The only apparent way to get a backfield holding call is to show up the officials when the call is ignored. And by that I mean by demonstrating with extreme prejudice that you are in fact being held by emphasizing by your movements that you are being held.
I mean I wouldn't suggest this as a strategy except that it has become painfully obvious that this particular call will only be made when a Dlineman is being tackled or so gratuitously having his jersey wrenched, you need the jaws of life to extract the guy latching on.
Sometimes, particularly in big games, when this tactic is employed, the results can be disastrous and lead either to further no-calls or actual unsportsmanlike conduct penalties against your team. Don't want that against Wisconsin or Ohio State.

So you do, or do not, recommend the 'Tom Allen Method' of making friends and influencing officials?

In fact, when it goes through the list of televised games by time slot, it does not mention the game, and in the bottom of that column, where it lists "other local games," UM v Md does not even make the list.

I predict that Maryland will get called for holding once....but Michigan's D-line will be called for "illegal hands to the face" twice
