Lavert Hill flipped off the crowd
I was in a bubble after the game, so if I missed this I apologize, but this is the first I heard of it.

Petition that the section should be renamed "Lavert Hill Epic Double Bird of the Week" because I'm fucking tired of seeing Marcus Hall on a Michigan blog

So much this ^^^^^^
Why do we have a photo of a goddamn buckeye on this blog every week?

Although this idea is getting some good traction here............how would a so named section be used? Is it reserved for an off the field action for which a player must now apologize? I kind of hope it will not be used frequently, if at all. Last week the title could have been "Oh, Kekoa!".

I guess I was imagining it being similar to the existing section. It would be used for bad behavior or things that the fanbase would generally be upset about.
I hope this team won't have any other instances of actions that require apologies in the near future.

I doubt he did this as an anti-Sandusky/Paterno thing.
I know people are defending him because they're pissed about how the game turned out. I just don't want this to be a sign of players thinking of self over team. The season is not over and we don't need guys playing for self over team and turn 5-2 into 7-6.

move on. Seems like a non-issue (although a funny picture!).

It's a sign of respect.
If O'Korn can get an OSU DB to do this to us in 5 weeks, I'll be estatic.

At least he did it after the game and not during the game like the Tennessee guy did.

He stuck the landing too soon...too far away from the fans to notice.

Florida State's head football coach essentially challenged a fan to a post-game fight on the way to the locker room.
I can't imagine the full-on freakout that would occur if Harbaugh did the same.

But I bet Jim would kick his arse. Still, with what happened to Coach Mo, I do not advise such behavior.

I read this on another board: "Most offense Michigan showed all game". Good for Lavert. Maybe he can play both ways next week.

PSU where to stick it - but UM atheletes shouldn't be the ones doing it. Just because they have no class, doesn't mean we should sink to their level.

I flip people off almost weekly while driving. I'm already on their level. Flip away Lavert.

Look, if you can't beat them on the field, you have to do everything to beat them off the field in my opinion. Whether it's recruiting victories, trips to the vatican, shows on Amazon, whatever. It shows that Michigan doesn't stand for being pushed down t0 3rd or 4th place in the east again. That they have way too much pride for that. I think the harlmess jesture shows that pride. Well done.

It's okay, I'm sure Penn State will stop referencing this event after fourteen or fifteen years.
Their dementia only kicks in when it comes to talking about Joe Paterno's transgressions.

I'm always amazed this stuff gets the attention it does. It's a college-aged human being flipping people off. There have to be more important matters to cover than that.
