lol...wow...D War chose very poorly.
STEVIE BROWN!
Very nice, big congrats to him. 7th rd to Oakland.
Never would have guessed that would happen......
didn't see that coming. Good for Stevie B!
I loled at this
And then I felt more bad for Warren :(
Congrats to Stevie. Too bad he is a Raider!
Congrats to Stevie, just sucks that you are in Oakland.
somehow this is awesome.
Definitely a little retribution for Stevie. Good for him!
Wow... I wouldn't have imagined that over a year ago
great to see him get drafted after a good senior year...not really sure where he fits in the NFL. I guess Gold made it as a small LB, so could Brown.
...do a better job at QB.
Will be an excellent special teams guy. He can run really fast down the field and loves to hit people. I think he can be a kick/punt coverage guy and play right away.
i hope warren isn't drafted as "mr. irrelvant".
don't you get a free car and shit if you're last each year?
Stay in school kids...?
But really happy for Stevie Brown, good to see him find a place in the draft. Hopefully the Raiders rather good draft class this year is a sign of things to come =)
Warren is probably better off not being drafted at this point and having some say in what team he signs with
Huh, there's a swarm of locusts filling the sky. That doesn't look good.
I don't see any humor here. This sucks for us and him simultaneously.
[/prude mode]
Then again, Brown was taken by football genius Al Davis, the Mr. Burns of the NFL, who probably thought he was taking Red Grange or something. Still, I'm rooting for the Lions/Pats/Dolphins/Eagles to take DWarren in the 7th or sign him as a FA
Bonus: Stevie got picked right before some OSU LB
...and Stevie has speed. Al probably just couldn't pass him up.
I'm not sure who edited my title, but still. Before D. Warren. Still lul'zing.
i guessed you wouldn't mind. it adds the search terms that will keep about 9 diff posts being made and lets people know without reading what happened.
meh.
That's fair.

guess: warren, shazor party like they never have to go to class again
Who would have thought a year and a half ago that Stevie Brown would get drafted?
Minor for Mr. Irrelevant
Good for Stevie. I don't care if he gave me indigestion his Junior year, it's nice to see him drafted.
Too bad BooBoo isn't eligible or we could have him and Blount duke it out for Mr. Irrelevant

Then wake up and put his hands in the air, declaring himself the winner.
I'm honestly really happy for Stevie Brown. I hope he can work his way into the lineup out there in Oakland.
Minor is ESPN's #4 remaining RB, Warren's the #1 CB left...
"Steven Brown" is a Raider. Good for Steven.
Easiest team to earn your way to a starting job ever!
now it is mr. irrelevant or bust for minor and warren.
now for warren as mr. irrelevant?
Glad to see Stevie in Oaktown. Hope he makes the team and can get some playing time.
Good for Stevie.
warren undrafted. geez.
Good for Stevie. Donovan Warren FTW.
Wow. Warren just made the biggest mistake of his life. He could've been back, helped us out, and helped his draft stock.
Ryan Mundy Part 2
... if you leave early and don't get drafted, you are truly Mr. Irrelevant.
I think the strike possibility for 2011 really screwed with some players, DW included.
Also, d-bag Mel Kiper Jr. had DW in the top 3 of junior CBs in November, and then off the list recently.
If hope it works out for him. The potato salad on the buffet table is probably a bit gamy right now.
Yikes. D. Warren is not even on the list for notable players not drafted on ESPN. He sure could have helped us. Wish he would have come back.
ESPN had him as the #1 Best Remaining CB at the end of the draft.
some really bad info. D Warren could have made a million more just staying in school for one year. I wonder if anyone close to him tried to explain that.
Congrats to Stevie Brown. I bet they try to use him in a similar role in packages that include multiple safeties. Maybe he will bulk up like Cato June did...
Congrats to Stevie. I really hope everything works out for him. He really turned it around last season.
that Stevie Brown would be drafted and Donovan Warren wouldn't be.
Good point, but if Steve Brown hadn't come back for his senior season, he wouldn't have been taken either.
Or at the end of last week for that matter.
Is that Brown projects as a better special teams player, after his stint as a quasi-linebacker allowed him to show his physical toughness. Sixth, seventh round guys are often drafted for ST potential first, with positional development as a bonus.
