They haven't checked with me yet. I'll check my schedule and get back to you.

does anyone else find it ironic that this thread has 3 upvotes and 9 downvotes? asking for a friend

That was awesome until someone spoiled the fun. Thread should have been locked at that point.

That's cool that you're friends with Alanis Morisette.

Don't you think?
Is it ironic like rain on your wedding day, or a free ride when you've already paid?
Or was it that good advice, that you just didn't take?

Hit the tight end, and don't throw the fade...
Little known lyric.

A great drive capped off with a pick, or
a red zone appearance that ends in a kick.
September 19th, 2017 at 9:26 AM ^
There's a chance that it'll be a six day pick, which means they'll choose on the Sunday prior to the game. More likely we find out on Monday after the Purdue game during the normal twelve day pick.

Is this actually a rule for night games? That would be awesome, if so.
September 19th, 2017 at 10:12 AM ^
They can force teams to host night games but have to give 12 day notice.
September 19th, 2017 at 10:13 AM ^
Yes, day games are subject to the 6 day notice, night games have a 12 day notice.
September 19th, 2017 at 10:39 AM ^
Please be a night game. I have my wife's siblings coming over to visit that weekend from out of town and I told my wife I don't want them in my house during the Michigan/Mich St game. If it's a night game they will have to go to my wife's brother's house across town that night.
I dunno about you guys but i cannot stand watching a Michigan game with people who don't care about Michigan (or football in general) much less a rivalry game! Plus these 2 particular siblings are so freaking full of drama and always create arguments with the other siblings

I don't get posts like this. I mean, I do, you want an outlet to voice your frustration. But then, I don't get your problem. Can you not watch it in another room? Go to a bar? Think of it from their perspective. You essentially want to ban your in-laws from your house because you want to watch TV. Kind of a chump move. And then to voice it here...?
/two cents

If you knew these siblings, you'd understand. And don't worry, they don't check this board...
Also, I'm not banning them from my house, just going to set up the schedule to where they are at our house another night and at another family member's house during the game.
But yes, my love for Michigan football exceeds my love for these 2 particular sibling in-laws.

I totally get this. If it's a big game I really don't want to watch with anyone else unless they are dedicated Michigan fans who are there to actually watch the game. My wife will watch the game with me, but if there is another woman present she will want to talk through it and this pisses me off. Also, the dog should really not be in the house when I'm watching a big game because she will end up cowering under our bed upstairs.

They need to decide these things sooner. It's not an issue for me personally, but for those coming in from longer distances, it's definitely helpful to know if you're going to need a hotel or not.

Again, WD rights the ship! Will all of the current Michigan football players that are on this board please get off this topic and focus on beating Purdue! Thanks!

I would kind of rather have it be a 3:30 game. I'm not going, and I drink a lot on Michigan v. Michigan State gameday. If it is a night game I will have to wait to start drinking until at least 10:30 AM.

I will get through it. The road will be long, that period between 8:30 and 10:30 will test my mental fortitude but I believe that I will be stronger for it after it's all said and done.

Unconfirmed rumors circulating that some of the UofM facility staff have been told to expect a 7 or 8pm kick for that one. I for one am rooting for 7pm if it has to be a night game.

I would tolerate a 7 PM game, but would not be thrilled with an 8 PM start.
