I was never a giant Stafford fan. Didn't like the draft pick. Didn't think he was worth that contract. Never was a hater just didn't think he was good enough to justify the contract. He's continuing this transition to be a real presence on the field outside of his arm. The way he's controlling the line of scrimmage, making calls, getting guys into position and making good decisions is something I've never seen from him this consistently. He looks like a QB I could envision carrying the Lions to some playoff success eventually. If the line gets good once Decker is back, Lions could be a playoff team that wins a playoff game. From a lifetime Lions pessimist, that felt weird to say during the first half of week 2. Lions have to stay healthy though.

Chicken shit Giants don't call a TO with 1:20 left before the Lions field goal. Then don't take a shot after gaining none yards on first down. They deserve to lose. Lions look good. Hope they can keep it up.
