I will be honest and say that I have been hoping for a maize jersey for some time. I think it will be cool. I agree that it should never be tried at home, and the helmet should never be changed. I am a little bit worried about all maize, including the pants, but am willing to give it a chance. I don't think it will be a distraction and could serve to get the team excited for the game. Just my opinion. Realize it is a matter of taste.

How about our home uni?

Since we never get to be the home team in one of these "netural site" games, letting us wear our home unis would be a alternate uni.

This is one of not many situations where they should have listened to WD on this one. Just wear our road unis to this, and are alternates should just be 1997 throwbacks at the Penn State game.

Maize Pants FTW.

I can't fathom how poorly all maize will look. Nor can I imaging how they might look good. Either way, I hope they play better than they'll look...

Harbaugh appreciates tradition more than anyone. Manuel said he has the authority on alternate. If he likes it I'm sure he vetted it appropriately. Try to refrain from khaki jokes

I agree, what it ultimately comes down to is what the kids and the team likes. I'm sorry but none of you old bastards in your 30's or above, opinion matters one ounce here in this situation. Even if you believe you are that special. Sorry once again you old balls. Not that it matters but I myself wish they would wear blue pants and jerseys with a ton of blue and maize on them. That would be cool. Surely tradition can step aside every once in awhile. Who gives a shit if it looks like WVU. They suck and no one cares.
