I went to high school in the area, and it's not exactly a hotbed of talent. There was Marcus Taylor (MSU) and Courtney Scott (Iowa) in the early 00s. That's about all I remember until Horford.
I was in Lansing Public Schools in the 70s. Couple of guys who went on to play for Sparty were pretty good. One in particular.
An NBA all-star from Grand Ledge. Much better than younger brothers Jon and Josh.
was a big time OL recruit from EL in the mid 90s. i believe he started some games as a redshirt frosh; a rarity back then. he hurt is back though, and didn't play much after that.

I thought I saw several CB's for him to OSU?
I'd still take Ignas if available. Just like when we took Caris, Nik and GR3.
Question would then be, what would the preference be for the 5th spot? A big or a 2 guard?
