and put Wagner back in at a key moment. He seemed to spark the comeback, and managed to avoid a third foul.

Gutsy call by JB, and good on Wagner.

I'm very happy with that first half. No in particular playing bad, even Donna. Taking care of the ball and making FTs. Teams either build big leads with gimmicks and then you have to fight back once you solve it... Or if they don't, you pull away.

How to stop that penetration by Evans? Derrick is doing well at times but others he's gotten to the rack too easily. Rahk playing Forte pretty well, knock on wood, him getting open looks won't bode well. Fix up some of the rebounding issues and we're okay...gotta keep scoring and getting shots through our offense (i.e. easier buckets than hero ball 3s).

The bench is big factor in a game like this. Fouls and pace affect us much more than them. We have to do a good job of slowing things down in the second half. I'm pleasantly surprised that we have the lead so far given how things have gone in the first half. Solomon should have fouled out damn near three times already.

We are up at the half and Jon hasn't played at all! We are gonna be alrite. Mo is gonna blow up in 2nd half if the refs don't call some pussy fouls. Also Robinson had a clean jump ball on Forte. That's 3pts they shouldn't have also.

into the paint.  They had too many easy baskets.  Someone has to step up and block them off before they get going.  Also, Michigan has to crash the boards in the 2nd half.  Way too many 2nd chances for the Okies.

Is getting the ball out of Evans hands early and often. The rest of Okie State is Nebraska level scary and no other player on their team has created their own shot.

it's no wonder they get tons of O rebs.  As the D rotates he's just throwing to the rim.  It's more of a pass off the glass as they all crash through gaps.  I think the answer is a quicker D reb crash from interior players and whoever is guarding Evans.  As the big rotates from the pick, Walton needs to beat Solomon to the charge circle and force Solomon to go through or reach.  You can't leave guys on the perimeter by trying to help from the outside or you risk their inside-outside game heating up.

He's so important for us on defense.

His length allows him to just stand there and disrupt things with his long arms. Donnal and even Wagner have to jump.
