This boxed biscuit mix for my kids...seriously delish. I can understand his joy from the combination of great basketball, a great buzz and something that doughy and buttery. I fully expect the thread tomorrow to be "I drank too much and ate too many biscuits, but how bout them Wolverines!!??" tomorrow

Since the OP opened the door to delicious things you can buy at Sam's, the Cranberry Pecan chicken salad is quite good as well. On my way home from work one evening, I stopped to pick up something for dinner and didn't want something that would require much in the way of time or effort to prepare or clean up after.  I brought home baguettes, cheese, and chicken salad.  I'm not a huge chicken salad fan, but I still liked it. My wife really, really liked it.

From Red Blobster. One of the top 10 grossest places to eat IMO. But I do share your excitement about Michigan hoops.

We normally get 5~6 (or 3 ~ 9, depending on who is serving) biscuits and my son would eat those non-stopping and then say, I am done.　

So everytime we eat at Red Lobster, we have to box his order (the real food), except  the vegetable.

We did not find them as enjoyable... to each his own... but I believe all but evil people can agree on the joy of the Basketball team!

I've been wanting to make homemade RL biscuits for some time. Might have to do it this week.

when you see how much butter is in each, the deliciousness suddenly makes sense.

however, i can't stop eating them.

 

 

The biscuits at the RL are much better, IMO.  I've had the boxed version twice, and both times they were underwhelming.  To the point where I won't bother with them again.  At the restaraunt, though, there isn't anything better on the menu!

Maybe its just my baking of biscuits that sucks, and not the boxed mix?  That's certainly possible!

Red Lobster does indeed make a damn fine biscuit. Always stock up on Costco runs.

make the world go around. They do a nice job of mopping up the remaining scampy butter or ranch dressing left on the plate.

For those who are a little more upscale in their shopping habits, you can get the biscuits at Costco as well. So Red Loster is covering the retail space pretty well and doing something right.

apropos of nothing, I highly recommend the Arby's gyro after drinking. Way Better than expected.

This is such an awesome thread.   I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and saw it.  Was so hoping it would still be up later.

Red Lobster's Cheddar Bay biscuits are amazing. I'm not a big fan of the other food on the menu, but the biscuits are seriously great.

God I hate Red Lobster (but I love this post).  The last time I went to Red Lobster was after the Illinois-Michigan football game in Champaign back in 2009.  My wife's GF's boyfriend wanted to eat there - fitting way to cap off a shitty day (except I did run into a fraternity brother of mine beforehand).
