Red Lobster Biscuits

Submitted by HelloHeisman91 on

I'm drunk, M hoops is playing like gang busters, Harbaugh coaches the Michigan football team and I can confirm that the Red Lobster biscuits that Sam's Club sells in a box that need to be mixed and baked at home are absolutley delicious.  Nobody has it better than me right now!  Negbang, posbang,.......don't care either way because I'm eating biscuits and the b-ball team is on fire.  Go Blue......Eat Biscuits y Quemar Los Barcos!!!!

This boxed biscuit mix for my kids...seriously delish. I can understand his joy from the combination of great basketball, a great buzz and something that doughy and buttery. I fully expect the thread tomorrow to be "I drank too much and ate too many biscuits, but how bout them Wolverines!!??" tomorrow

Since the OP opened the door to delicious things you can buy at Sam's, the Cranberry Pecan chicken salad is quite good as well. On my way home from work one evening, I stopped to pick up something for dinner and didn't want something that would require much in the way of time or effort to prepare or clean up after.  I brought home baguettes, cheese, and chicken salad.  I'm not a huge chicken salad fan, but I still liked it. My wife really, really liked it.

We normally get 5~6 (or 3 ~ 9, depending on who is serving) biscuits and my son would eat those non-stopping and then say, I am done.

So everytime we eat at Red Lobster, we have to box his order (the real food), except  the vegetable.

The biscuits at the RL are much better, IMO.  I've had the boxed version twice, and both times they were underwhelming.  To the point where I won't bother with them again.  At the restaraunt, though, there isn't anything better on the menu!

Maybe its just my baking of biscuits that sucks, and not the boxed mix?  That's certainly possible!

I just saw this thread and....well done.

We have a metric shit ton of Zoup leftovers to get us through the day here. If you want a tub of chicken dumpling, we can definitely accommodate you.

For those who are a little more upscale in their shopping habits, you can get the biscuits at Costco as well. So Red Loster is covering the retail space pretty well and doing something right.

= Olive Garden salad

This is such an awesome thread.   I woke up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and saw it.  Was so hoping it would still be up later.

....do not forget the Garden's Pasta Fagoli soup, I love that something fierce. It is basically an Italian style chili, but it's got those slivered carrots, the nicely softened celery, and the real clincher is when you get the little pieces of pasta feels like a reward. I could bathe in it.

God I hate Red Lobster (but I love this post).  The last time I went to Red Lobster was after the Illinois-Michigan football game in Champaign back in 2009.  My wife's GF's boyfriend wanted to eat there - fitting way to cap off a shitty day (except I did run into a fraternity brother of mine beforehand).
