Rutgers is playing like they're the ones playing to make the tournament. We have the intensity of a pick up basketball game. Nobody knows where to be on defense constantly, we can't hit free throws, and we lob passes to nobody.

How much more of Beilein do people need to see here to realize this is the norm? He had a nice two year run, the rest of his teams have played exactly like this or worse. Been seeing it for 10 years. Nothing is changing. On offense we jack up three balls and the defense is non existent. Couple that with the recruiting and this is the result.

This seems like the type of game we continually lose under Beilein (with a 2 year exception) - playing down to the level of a poor opponent on the road - let them stick around - lose game in the end. Hell, even in the year we went to the Final 4, the team did this against a pathetic Penn State team. Problem is, if we lose this one, we're NIT bound this season.

The option to stop recruiting like a mid-major is still available. Then we wouldn't have to hope that we can just squeeze by Rutgers to get in the tourney.
