while we're in a bit of a lull regarding content I thought I would ask to see what you all have planned for NYE?  Staying home and watching the games?  Avoiding the NYE games altogether?

I was thinking about heading into Ann Arbor for NYE.  Anyone know of any good specials happening in or around the city or any cool restaurants or bars to ring the new year in?

Have a happy and safe holiday season!

I did NYE in Vegas a few years back. It was insanely cold. I knew it was going to be cold because I go to Vegas every December, but it was below freezing. Luckily, it's the same fireworks display up and down the strip and you can stay warm in any casino right before hitting the strip to watch the fireworks.

Dinner at "Red, the Steakhouse" in Miami Beach then trying to find a place to watch the CFP games. Hopefully there will be a thread with suggestions from locals for us Wolverines going down for the bowl game (there has been in years past)

My plans?

Hopefully watching OSU's season end in some miserable, gut-wrenching fashion where Watson converts a critical, yet controversial 4th and 1 that ends the game and everyone in OSU fandom is certain he was short.

That would make me happy. Either that, or watching Clemson blow their doors off in a 45-3 kind of game. I just want to see their entire fanbase completely disemboweled.

I've spent NYE in NYC, L.A., Tampa, and Vegas over the years. I'm now old enough to realize that it doesn't matter where you're at, it only matters who you're with. And most of the time NYE never lives up to the hype so enjoy the company of those around you.

The more you know...

I only got one small 4 day vacation this year and have to work OT mids the New Years Eve weekend. At least I will get to watch the games, have a beer and a sip of champagne before I leave for work at 12 AM.

Think I may also be enjoying a Heisman #2 cab, which I asked Santa for. Also, I'll be sharpening pins for my Urban voodoo doll. That'll be early in the evening though.
