I guess I was wrong on the ranking. They still clearly didn't show up to play due to lack of motivation. It's very difficult to motivate a team to give their all for the prize of being ranked #8 instead of #15 I'm not making shit up. I just remembered them not being motivated. I doubt we will be this year. Nothing to play for.

No one would argue that you were making shit up about their lack of motivation; just the rest of what you wrote. I live here and share an office wall with a diehard Florida fan. They weren't motivated because of how much of a downgrade they viewed that bowl as, as the SEC east champion. Not because they were disappointed they didn't get into the playoff. That ship had sailed a long time before the SEC title game.

If the players think like you then yes we are screwed. If they are hard workers trying to get better everyday and win the last game of their CAREERS at Michigan then I think we are ok. This world of garbage or championship thinking is a bit much. You have to start fresh in your thinking sometime. Should we do it today or put it off until late August?

the way Harbaugh competes for EVERYTHING? Maybe even a consolation Orange Bowl?  Your right even Harbaugh wouldn't stoop so low as to want to win any Bowl game unless it were a NC playoff bowl. Besides look what happened to UM last year after they won that stupid Citrus Bowl? They went on a 9-0 regular season run, then blew it at Iowa. What a waste of time and money.

EDIT:  So as I sit here and watch the negs pile up (well over a hundred at this point) I'm forced to wonder what the grave sin here is.  Was it calling a whiny asshole a whiny asshole?  Or was it that I had the nerve to say I was enjoying watching the board neg someone like him?  I'm honestly curious.

It's hard not to notice a plummet of more than 100 points.  It doesn't matter to me whether you keep doing it or not, honestly.

I would say, though, that you're not exactly making a case for yourself not being a whiny asshole right now.  *shrug*

Tell that to the players and coaches. Would you rather have Hoke back and play in games like the BWW bowl every year, except for the years we go 5-7, getting creamed by teams like KSU? Or how about some more tight games with fucking Toledo or Uconn? Fuck that! Orange bowl here we come. I guarantee the team is jacked for this opportunity.
