The saddest part about losing to Kansas isn't even the fact that it's the first time they've lost to them since 1938.

The saddest part is that this is a team that has won literally ONE GAME since the start of the 2015 season. That one game was against Rhode Island, a current 2-9 FCS team. The fans actually rushed the field. Think about this...2016 Michigan has as many wins as the last 6 Kansas teams combined (before Kansas beat Texas, that is.) Their record since Magino was fired is 13-69. 13 wins in almost 7 seasons combined. Even Michigan's worst days under RR they managed 15 wins in 3 years...imagine having lost two more games under RR and then going 4 more years without a single victory. That's the team that Texas just lost to.

This is worse than anything Hoke or RR ever did. Including losing to Maryland and Rutgers in the same season, Only RR's loss to Toledo compares. Kansas is literally the worst power 5 program in the country over the last 5 or so years, and it's not even close.

What about UCLA for Herman. Mora doesn't have much time if any. Herman went to school in Cali and the weather and recruits and.... Anyway that sounds way better than Purdue or whatever you guys are talking about.

Texas is a joke. They are the main reason for the implosion of the B12 and quality teams like CU, TAMU, Nebraska, and Mizzou are elsewhere instead. They need to own up and stop blaming others.

For many years Texas enjoyed the benefit of being Texas ...keep all the kids you want but those few that go to Norman. But now, not unlike M in the waning years of Carr, the program has lost its edge and has a lot more competition InState alone. Baylor, TCU, A&M, Houston ...even TT & SMU are competitive again. Texas is down out of arrogance and I agree that Strong had little shot from the beginning and it will take a while to get things turned around, regardless of whether Matthew McConaughey has his shirt on or not.
