The Fan in Fargo

I'd do it if I were going to be there. Should also make it a point to coax the Michigan student section to start a chant that is aimed at the refs every time they make a bad call. Like especially next year against shartee sparty. Should be like a chant saying see you after the game ref or see you in the parking lot. That would be hilarious! That would make them think twice about favoring UM's opponents!

Edit: "See you in the parking lot" . (clap clap clapclap clap)

Herbstreit will also do plenty talking out both sides of his mouth saying how good Peppers is as a pro prospect, but then dissuading people from giving him Heisman hype/votes.

Everything has an agenda with him.

Good to know, but I'll listen to Brandy (mistakes and all) and Dan instead, as usual.

It's never an inviting atmosphere for U-M, but, at least happy the team will be playing on Field Turf at Kinnick. And I still haven't forgotten the shit no-calls that cost us a chance to tie the game in 2011. After what we saw on the road in EL, not looking for too many breaks from the officials.

Herbstreit is a total class act! He is one of my favorite announcers and one of the best in the business.I love to see Michigan beat OSU but he and many former Buckeye players represent their alma mater and Buckeye nation very well. We should respect them. Go Blue

Sean McDonough would have been better, but now impossible. Fowler and Herbstreit want to call an upset in Iowa City.

It ain't going to happen.

Iowa has two great running backs, but inconsistent OL and a defense that simply cannot stop anyone, especially not a team that is balanced and can throw.

Night game. Kinnick Stadium. Iowa will be up for it. Ferments will not do typical Ferentz things.

But on paper this is already a fucking blow out.

I like McDonough, but it depends.  When he, Spielman and Urban called our game at EL in 2011, I wanted to throw a brick through the TV.  I can't remember a more infuriating call than that game.  Plus, didn't McDonough call the MSU game last year?  Can't say I like that mojo.  I think Herbstreit is great with the exception of where he went to school.

This game does have me a tad uneasy, and it has nothing to do with Herbstreit.

Playing at night, on the road, in what will likely be an extremely raucous, loud environment, could very well be one of our toughest games of the year.

Of course if this game was at home I'd take us by 3 TDs easily. But night games on the road can be tough. Got to come out and set the tone early.
