Its 5 Hours Until Game Time, And You Are Going to....

Submitted by xtramelanin on

Mates,

Reminiscent of Christmas morning for many of us, up since 0-dark-hundred and waiting for kick off.  Can't wait to open our 'gift' at noon.

So the question is:  What's on tap for you this a.m. between now and noon?   Work?  Workout?  Kids' stuff?  Coffee in your cup?  Hustling to EL?

Have a great morning.  Let's hope we are just as sky-high in 8 hours as we have been all week.  Go Blue and have a great weekend.

in a minute with the Pokemon app open on my phone to track distance for my daughter's game.  Then taking her to a STEAM something-or-other that's nearby.  Following that, my wife, much to her chagrin, has to go bridesmaid dress shopping.  I'll take the kiddo to a buddy's house and he and I will watch the game while our collective children shoot nerf darts at us.  There will be multiple times the kids catch us almost swearing and they will taunt us with said info.

Are participating in the Strides for Breast Cancer walk. Our mom, 1 year survivor, will be walking in it for the first time this year. We have awesome UM breast cancer fight shirts that the 3 of us will wear. So, the Walk, maybe a quick breakfast after, then meeting up with the local M club here. Going to be a great day! Go Blue!

I blew my hip out and need a new one, so I can't run, but I will be walking six miles.  Once that's done, a couple of hours of legal work to do for a client.  That gets me close to noon and I become a couch potato until midnight.

I seriously want to beat the MFers from East Lansing into submission, to the point where they cry from the pain.  I never want to see Dantonio smile again.

Go Blue!!

Coffee. Get ready for our first Annual "win with cruelty/rivalry game party". Ice down the cooler. Run kids to practice. Stare at the woods and wonder "what's going on under my treestand about now"?
Hope we bring our VERY BEST today. It's going to be windy in that giant concrete urinal. 15-30 West. We Just need to execute on both sides of the ball and everything will fall into place.
(((GO BLUE!)))

Made a latte, got Sportscentre on, making some tacos and guac in a bit, making a run to the Beer Store once it opens to pick up whatever floats my boat. I can't wait for noon.

I've had insomnia all weekend. Just too much excitement and anticipation I suppose. I'll probably do what I did all week long at work while watching time tick as slowly as it ever has... Explore every nook and cranny on this here Blog.

The Trident boats (like the USS Michigan) have a track that runs outboard of the tubes in the missle compartment.  It's like an 8th of mile, or something.  Other than that, I have no experience with exercise on a submarine.  The fast attack boat I was on was once surveyed for a place to locate a treadmill, but no suitable space was found.  Most people did situps, pushups, jumping jacks - that sort of thing - in shaft alley (the furthest aft you can go, where the shaft exits the boat).

At the vets (they are forty minutes away but the cheapest place in town) getting our Golden Retriever Bo Schembarkler the last round of his puppy shots. Picking up firewood. Stopping by River City coffee for a pour over. Doing a little front porch sittin. Then pulling up to the bar for as much Busch light as I can fit in my body at 11. Go Blue. And happy Halloween everybody/

Hah. Anytime I post on here or any board with my user name about drinking anything other than craft beer I get that reaction. I pretty much just wait for it now. In reality, I prefer craft beer, much like any human with a palate, but with the amount of beer I drink for big games, it's best to start with one or two crafts and then hit the 1.75, 100 calorie light beer.
