lucky number seven
This number is approved by me. Not that anyone was waiting for that, but just FYI.
4-5 more years before I need to update on my beloved Chad Henne jersey.
My number 7 is vintage Drew Henson. I couldn't wear it for years, wouldn't want people to think I was a Spencer Brinton fan.
Wait, why the hell were you not a Spencer Brinton fan? More specifically why would you be ashamed to be called a Spencer Brinton fan?
I would imagine Rick Leach would approve of this number
any idea what number T-Rob will wear now?
My #7 jerseys been irrelevant since Henne left...bring it back Devin!
Stephen Hopkins 33, Jerald Robinson 83, Austin White 23, Ricardo Miller 82, and Jeremy Jackson 17
I think 17 fits Jeremy Jackson... not sure why.

i was thinking the same thing for austin. he seems like a 23
He probably seems like a 23 because that's the number he wore in high school.
I think it fits the Coner a little better, but that's just me.
Carl Tabb wore 17 and he was also a WR from Ann Arbor, although Pioneer.
This has 0 to do with what you are asking however.
tabb went to huron as well
Stephen Hopkins... the 2010-2013 version of Leroy Hoard!!!!!!!!!
I thought that was T-Rob's number, I wonder what number he has now.

Will Tate go to his #4 that he had in HS with Minor gone?
For the phonetic use with his name.

Ol' Captain Comeback was also a pretty good #4
I was hoping Miller would wear #1.
I think most of us are hoping that he does end up wearing it, but he has to earn it first.
We'll give it to him after he becomes the first freshman Heisman trophy winner on his way to four consecutive Desmond's.
He might wear #1 at some point due to his personality and leadership, but I doubt he'll wear #1 due to his productivity and talent.
And on this Wednesday Magnus says the future is bright. He is cheerful, full of optimism and shitting rainbows.
I like Hopkins with 33. Dont know why just feel like 33 is the number you give to someone who runs through CBs.

Couldn't agree more. #33 is definitely the number of a plow-back.
Yes. Now I have a reason to wear the Henne jersey. But he may not be playing for 3 years, so it'll stay in the closet, except for the spring game. Who is #7 on defense?
Brandin Hawthorne is #7 on Defense. He may prove worthy of jersey-wearing himself.
Christ, people, just because nobody on the team has the jersey number you have it doesn't make it irrelevant. It's maize and blue, ain't it? Wear it, dammit. I don't have a jersey but will be happy to take anybody's irrelevant one off their hands.
you need a jersey.
I'll start an MGoFundraiser for it.
No need for a fundraiser, just find me someone who's got a Jim Harbaugh #4 they won't wear any more because Minor's gone. Or even a Justin Feagin #3.

Yeah, every time I wear my Nike #7 more than half the comments I get are regarding Rick "The Peach" Leach, as one guy put it.
I think the #7 suits Devin. I can't wait to see him play in a couple years. He is going to be a beast for UM (as I suspect a lot of this class will be in the future......well.....I guess hope is a better word for it).
I like Stephen Hopkins in 33. Big backs wearing something in the 30's just seems right. Just like old times....
I like my QBs wearing #49 like Bob Chappuis or #28 a la Robert Timberlake, but maybe that's just me
in order to +1 you for making an avatar out of "The mysterious Voyage of Our Homer" Arguably the best Simpsons episode ever

Loved flutie rockin the Duece Duece
Jack Kennedy (no not President Kennedy) wore #20 for us last season
Leroy Mofo'ing Hoard.
Clarence Williams. He was like a Mack truck.
Hoard wasn't tall, but he was my favorite as a kid, a wrecking ball in blue.

Time to dust off the Henne jersey . . . this is probably the most traditional QB number at Michigan (Leach, Henson, Henne). Good choice for Gardner.

Any idea who's going to be wearing #24 this year? There are a ton of authentics on eBay cheap right now....

I think that Cullen Christian wore 24 in high school so he might wear it in college?

How awesome are our helmets? So awesome. Hurrah for the Yellow and Blue! (Yes, it's Yellow and Blue. Check our alma mater.)
